I have solved the problem of the cat eating the other one's food since she now has the microchip feeder and he cannot access her food, but I noticed that when I went out of town, the cat sitter would top up on dry and wet food without cleaning the bowl. So I purchased this split bowl as a backup and asked the cat sitter to switch the bowls in the microchip feeder during each visit and clean it. The bowl fits perfectly and the pink color adds a cute touch.
