Great book but needs GI
It is an excellent book and great resource, i wish the author would make it concise and stepwise. It has an extensive pulmonary section but GI is limited to only GI bleed. I would have liked to see ascites and sbp and cirrhosis as well. But excellent CLINICAL resource that is absolutely practical and applicable.

Great Book!
This is a great book. I am a graduated PA, and I wish I had this book in school. I will be starting my first job soon as a hospitalist, and this has great information condensed into one. This book covers the areas you will need to know prior to being in the hospital setting, and a great review of other topics as well. Would absolutely recommend.

Title does not fit the content - It's more comprehensive than simple.
This book is more geared towards ICU medicine than general hosptalist medicine.I caught a few typos. It's not simple....A more apt title would be a comprehensive review of ICU practices and physiology

Wheres the GI??
Love what it covers but hate that it forgot about most of GI...acute liver failure and decompensated cirrhosis are some of the sickest patients you will see and needs to be addressed in an otherwise comprehensive tome

Great refresher
Great refresher but lacks Infectious disease. Explains pahtophysiology in details and would be helpful to anyone for a quick review.
