2183833 Evaporator Fan Motor, Replacement for, 2163766, 2176298, 2183448, 2183833, 2200546, 2205138,

The fan went out on my 27 year old Whirlpool refrigerator. This replacement fan is working as expected. NOTE: You need to use parts from your old fan.

VERY EXPENSIVE NEED IT OVER PRICE WOULD NOT DO BUSSINESS AGAIN

Put this in about 3 weeks ago. Got one week of usefulness out of it before the bearings started screaming. Find something less expensive to play with. This one is a dead end. I only gave it one star because zero wasn't an option

Had to rely on 30 yrs of experience to modify this unit to make it work for my application. Even though it states it's a direct replacement.

The original fan in my old fridge decided not to work one day, but we got it going again. Decided that maybe replacing it was a good idea. So I installed this one in its place. However we could not tolerate the vibrating hum this one made. Tried several times to readjust it, even added some rubber gaskets on the mounts hoping to dampen the vibration. Nothing really worked, save reinstalling the old fan. Returning this one, will take our chances with the old one.

Had to modify it to fit because the brackets you use from the original fan just do not match with this. The fan revolutions are extremely weak and slow not strong enough and you can stop it with your hand. Had to replace it after 3 months it became noisy.

Not a good fit. The fan can be stopped by hand and does not blow enough air.
