This is an excellent shower mat. It has a nice natural wood feel on the feet, as opposed to plastic mats. It is quite easy to keep clean -- unlike plastic mats. It looks much better than a plastic mat. After showering, simply roll it up slightly and stand it on its edge to dry in the shower stall. It dries quickly. Every now and then I take it out to dry in the sunshine. Use it in the shower. Don't use it as a bath rug on your floor. The water will go straight through it. It might float, so it might not work well for bathing or in showers that don't drain well.

Overall this is a good product. The size is fine, the mat stays in place in the shower, and shower water drains well. However, the mat MUST receive regular treatment to prevent the formation of mold/mildew. We've been using a product purchased from Amazon, PermaSafe SHIELD, and treat the mat every three to four months for the past year plus. Prior to treatment we cleaned the mat with a bleaching product, rinsed and then treated it with a peroxide solution to insure the removal of all mold and mildew. Since applying the shield treatment the mat looks great. One other small annoyance is that that some of the silicon tabs on the back of the mat have come off over the years. They can be replaced by gluing them back on with a quality silicone adhesive. Just insure that the adhesive has antimicrobial properties. The image is of the mat after 3 years of use and treatment.

It looks nice but it slides too easily in my shower floor.

I purchased this as replacement to the first Bamboo floor mat was no longer in stock although smaller than the last one this turned out to be the perfect size. The mat is attractive and seems to be decently made, but beware it does slip. If you plan to use this in your bathroom you may want to layer it over a very thin slip proof mat which I did in the beginning but later just added adhesive rug grips.
