works very well, (but it probably depends on what kind of rice you use) but very flimsy, hasn't broken yet after multiple uses. lid doesn't close properly but you just have to hold the handle a bit tighter so not a deal breaker for me. It seems like it could break eventually but then just don't be rough with it. it is a very cool gadget and fun for kids so probably would buy again

Works well to form rice balls for my toddler. He enjoys helping us shake and make rice balls for dinner. Well made and easy to use

Plastic seemed to have a film/residue on it, once washed it came off, but made extremely weary of putting food in it.If you attempt to close it, the groves to not line up in order to snap it shut.Thin, cheap plastic.The spoon however feels like it would last and seems to be better plastic.

Easy to use after a little bit of practice. It's much more efficient to make the ball shape if your rice is warm. I would recommend going straight from rice cooker to mold shaker.Not very sturdy. I would handle with care and hand wash only. That being said, I've used this several times with rice and quinoa and it's still in great shape!Fun to make for toddler meals as this is the perfect size for them to grab and eat.
