Better than expected
Okay first of all, sitting in this recliner is almost a spiritual experience. It's so comfortable that I don't ever want to get up. Second of all, the instructions are freaking hilarious. They refer to velcro as "magic tape", and I was cracking up about it. The instructions alone were worth it, but this is a great chair. It's soft to the touch, comfortable, and reasonably attractive.

Great value, quick delivery, easy to assemble.
Comfortable and affordable, I am a big guy and my wife is small and we both agree this is a very comfortable chair. At a fraction of the cost of retail stores, this is great deal. Wide and plush, rocking or reclining this is a nice chair. I hope it lasts, it feels sturdy so I am optimistic. I will say that if you are over six foot this is probably not the chair for you as it seems a little shorter than most, but I am not too tall so it was a great buy.

So Far So Good - But Short Seat and Leg Lift
I just set the chair up, which was easy since there is very little assembly. All I did was insert the top into the bottom, took off a tie that stopped it from moving, zipped the arms and it was on.The seat is short, however. I am not that tall, around 5'8" but my knees are a good 3-4 inches longer than the chair and my feet are a good 6" off the leg lift. The seat, however is wide and comfortable. And, despite many pointing out how difficult it is to put the leg lift back, I have not, as yet, had that problem. So, so far, this is a good buy. I wish it was longer and if I buy again, I'd likely buy the brown chair which has a deeper seat.

Good for the price.
I got this recliner because I wanted a new daily comfortable chair for my living room. I sit in this chair for 3-5hrs a day. It's very comfortable and plush. And it's pretty wide in my opinion.the zippers from the weirdly detachable arm rests poke me sometimes. The quality is where it sucks. Often, I hear creaking and cracking when I sit or lay in it. I don't think it's super sturdy or will last a long time. But I got it on sale so I can't complain too much. It just feels like it could break too soon. Also the arm rests are kind of deformed and I've only had this chair a few months.Giving 3 stars as it is really comfy, but I only expect this chair to hold up for maybe a year.

Very comfortable, lots of cushioning, but it takes a little time to get used to closing it
This is my 1st recliner. I bought it on a really good sale on Amazon. It's very comfortable and easy to recline. It's my new favorite seat and I sit in it almost every time I watch TV and relax in my living room. I've even comfortably taken naps in it.The only thing I didn't lime is it took me a while to get used to closing it. It did seem difficult at first, but after a while I got used to closing it with my legs before standing up. I read a lot of the reviews before I purchased it and closing it is the number 1 complaint. It was fairly easy to assemble out of the box. I live by myself on a second floor apartment and I found the extra delivery fee of having it delivered in my apartment very reasonable and helpful. The only concern I have is sometimes I heard what sounded like a cracking sound. I'm not sure if something lime a support inside the chair cracked or if it's part of the adjustment process, but that doesn't appear to affect its functionality.

It’s broken and trying to kill me.
Here’s the thing: this recliner is pretty comfortable. That’s not the problem with this evil thing. The problem with this thing is that it may just end up being the thing that takes me from this earth. On the second day I had this thing, I attempted to use the footrest. It had an easy pull lever on the side, and the day before I’d been pleased with how simple it had been to use. However, the second attempt was not as successful or easy. I pulled the lever, and the footrest only popped out about an inch. So I pushed it back down and tried again. Same result: it popped up about an inch, and wouldn’t budge. I tried pulling the lever again, with no luck. After trying this a few times, I decided to try and push back on the seat and pull the lever at the same time. Again, no luck. The thing only opened about an inch. After pushing and pulling simultaneously multiple times, I decided to just pry the stupid thing open. It finally swung out with enough force to launch a small child the length of a football field. I thanked every higher deity known to mankind that my head was not in the way.I used the footrest and forgot about it. The next day, I attempted to use the footrest again. And again, it only popped up an inch. So after trying to gently coax it open, I pried it apart. It sprang outward and almost cost me a leg. This happened every time I tried to use the footrest. One time, I had given up on it opening when it unexpectedly sprang open and folded me like I was a rag doll. This is no easy feat, I’m 6’4” and 220 lbs. Fortunately, the only thing injured was my pride. But at that point, I was unsure on whether or not that would remain the result if I tried again. So I’ve left the footrest up and my recliner and I have entered an uneasy truce. It stays up, and I stay alive.I would not purchase unless you have a death wish or are an adrenaline junkie. I could also see it having some use if you needed a catapult. However, if you wish to live a long healthy life and do not have any plans to lay siege to a castle in the next few days, I would avoid this couch. There are plenty of comfortable, more affordable recliners out there, and they all have the added benefit of not attempting to murder you just for trying to relax.

Not worth the money.
I have had this chair for about 3 or 4 months now. It started off comfortable and worked well. However, yesterday it "broke" when I tried to close the foot while leaning forward to get out of the chair. The left side of the foot hangs down and the left side of the back is tilted/sagging. The chair no longer "closes".I am a disabled vet and my legs do not work well, so it isn't excessive force that caused it.At this point, I would not recommend this chair.
