This is great. It's very comfortable, good quality and works well. It also has a striking plate. It is a great size and I have used it many times now.It does what it should and does it well.Fantastic value. Highly recommended. I would not hesitate to buy this again.

My point is this
Pointy thing I use when drilling holes in wood to make a small starter hole in just the right spot. It's really sharp and the length, weight and balance seem much better than previous awls I have had. I expect it will go walkabout like they did, and get used for all sorts of odd things like they did. Very useful for * very carefully * worming into a knot that won't come undone.A nice, simple, old-fashioned, quality tool. With blade running right up to the end of the handle I'm sure it will take a few thumps with the mallet too.

Decent piece of kit
Nicely weighted. It's a good piece of kit. Roughly finished, but that doesn't matter too much as it'll get beat up anyway. Well worth the money and better than I had been expecting.
