Now I am looking forward to another one hopefully. I read quickly but don’t think I have ever read 7 books in a few days and am still looking forward to another.

This was probably the best book I've ever read in this genre. I read it start to finish in one afternoon to almost midnight sitting. Wow. Very well written, exciting, edgy, suspenseful, dramatic, TRAUMATIC, awesome. Well done, Mrs or Miss Robin James!

Do not mess with family! They will protect each other even if they have to lie. The truth always comes out.

As usual, Ms James has done it again. A very good legal mystery. And if you read the series from the beginning, you know the characters so well they feel like family.BUT, she needs a better editor. So many times she uses "got" when the word should be "gotten". " Had got" should be "had gotten". You use “gotten” when referring to a process of “getting” something. It's a little thing but it bothers me that she doesn't use correct grammar and her editor didn't catch it.

This is a good read, bout it got really good with the twists and turns.There were slow parts, but I'm glad I kept reading. Didn't see the ending coming!

I loved this book! Suspenseful!! Unexpected twists! Great thriller! I've read all her books and this is my favorite so far.

This one strikes close to home as Cass defends her niece’s boyfriend on a murder one charge. Ms. James has done a terrific job with this one. There’s a red herring and some very unexpected surprises in store as this trial unfolds. It’s riveting and once you begin, you simply can’t stop reading.

I have been really enjoying reading this series. This story made me cry and laugh and Gasp! I am sitting with Cass at her desk, beside her in court and feeling every emotion, tremor and fear! I have found it very hard to put down and go to sleep. All the stories are so well written. I've never enjoyed a book of the first person before, they are usually filled with grammatical and punctuation errors, but Robin James has it down to her science. I will continue reading and you should for sure

I've been enjoying Robin James books for a while now. The stories are all engaging, the characters are believable, and the resolution is usually surprising and always satisfying. I would recommend the whole series.

I enjoyed reading this amazing book. It has an excellent description of the characters and an amazing plot. I highly recommend this book.

A good engaging story with great legal angles. The lagnguage could be more on formal side while narrating events and characters.
