Great sound, beautiful color, great price!
I have been wanting a handpan for a few years and I recently thought to check & see if any were on here for sale and Yes! I can't afford the $2k ones right now but I'm teaching myself so maybe one day I can buy this one has a BEAUTIFUL and deep tone (I love the D minor anyway lol) and all the other notes are very harmonious!!! Me and my kids all love to play with it and make the most awesome sounds with it!! Sounds travels far too!! Neighbors can hear too when we use the rubber mallets lol it's too sharp for me but I use my hands and I'm so happy with my purchase!!! Love the purple/blue colors that changes colors in the light depending on which way you look at it it might look blue almost black then go up closer and it's more purple! 💜 Thanks so much!!!!! We love it!!!!!

Good handpan for the money spent
The media could not be loaded. Good quality handpan for the money spent. Came in good tuning & very well packaged, instrument also sounds well balanced. Good for a percussionist or anyone interested in handpan to get started without spending much money. Video showing instrument & all of its harmonics individually isolated can be found in review!

Best Bang for your Buck!!!
My old handpan was stolen. After a few days of research i settled on giving this handpan a try due to positive reviews although i was very skeptical. It turns out, this handpan is better for various reasons.1. Sound quality equal if not better.2. This one is 432hz, which i wanted originally but would have had to pay extra(special order) from my original maker.3. The slaps are wayy better on this handpan vs. my old one. Idk why but possibly this is heavier in comparison although they are both nitrided steel. My old handpan you would have hit the open space exactly right to get a good slap (for beat production).4. Price. This should have been #1 reason. Gladfresit was less than 1/3 the price of my old handpan.5. This handpan has 9 notes vs. my old had 8 notes.6. This purchase came with mallets, bag and a stand vs my old purchase only came with bag.Additional information. The purple is a dark purple fyi. Maybe some are lighter but mine was darker. Im ok with that. Its the sound that truly matters. Also the ding has a bit of a slap as well which can be dampened by using the tip of your finger.Overall i will buy another handpan from this maker. Tuning is on point, resonance on point. Couldn't be happier especially after my last handpan was stolen. Thanks Gladfresit!!!

Nice sounding handpan but very dark blue instead of purple
My handpan was delivered very well packed and the tone is pretty good. However it is sold as a "Purple Performer" and the photos show a very nice light purple handpan, but what was delivered was very dark blue, almost black without any hint of purple. With so many options for sale on Amazon the point of ordering this one was to get a purple hand-pan - if I wanted an indeterminate almost black version of blue I could have bought a different one.Not impressed at all

Meh
The description states it is purple. A few of the ratings said it was real blue. I would have been happier with either. But, it looks black. I held a light up to it and under a flashlight, it does look very dark blue and there are some flecks of purple, but in regular lighting, it looks black. Mine also came with some kind of weird grease on parts of it. The sound was pretty good.

Darker than expected
Even though it is darker than expected it is beautiful and sounds great. It's all in the way you tap on the keys, and weather you pick up your fingers fast or hold them down. Watch some YouTube videos and it makes sense how to play it. I love mine. Thank you for having this.

Great for percussive techniques
The instrument that was shipped to me came thickly coated in some type of machine oil. Reeked to high heavens. So first thing I did was clean it thoroughly with isopropyl (rubbing) alcohol. Removed the oil and smell completely. Then I messed around with it. Pretty easy to produce notes, which were not in tune on the tuner (very flat), but they were all tuned okay relative to the other notes on this pan. So unless you're playing with others, you'll be okay. The notes have a tinny, metallic sound. Not rich and full. So why 3 stars instead of 1? This is the most percussive handpan I've every played. Pop the ding and it sounds just like a bass drum. Strike with your fingernails and it almost sounds like a guitar. It gives a nice slap with palms, fingers and fingernails, and it has a cool sound when struck with your knuckles. I won't be leading meditations with this drum, but I'm keeping it because it's so much fun to experiment with different rhythms and beats. I'm happy with the purchase.

It's everything I wanted. The 432hz is perfect. I'm verry happy.
It's amazing guys. You will like it. I'm not gonna pay $1500 plus for those really high end ones, iv always wanted one and I finally got it in todaY, it's great. Sounds awesome.I love the purple...to go with my crown shakra...lol. if your shopping around and this is in your price range just get it id say. Not that iv tryed them all to compare but im content. I'm more than content. The carry case/back pack is nice quality for travel and the little mallets are fun to use. It's almost as tho it plays itself. If you don't know how to play and want to learn...you will..it's patterns and I just drift away in the sounds. Start out with a slow taping on 1 or 2 of the notes and then slowly start adding in new notes and just feel your vibe take over and let the sounds flow.
