Work well, the riveted steel design is cheap though
The media could not be loaded. The auto ratcheting feature works well and let me get the filter off a Subaru outback 3.6 engine, which notoriously few filter 3 fit because of the tight clearance. The haws are just thin steel riveted together though, which seems cheaper than the solid thick jaws on some competing tools. This one is the only one I found with the ratchet function though.

Well made filter wrench
Have not had chance to use yet but appears to be very well made & the price is right. Comes w/ good recommendation from Tractor Mike which is good enough for me.

Best Oil Filter Pliers Ive ever used.
When I was in the market for new Oil Filter pliers, I was torn which ones to buy as I drive a diesel, with an extra large oil filter, but work on small sedans that have tiny oil filters. This wrench is adjustable and is able to remove just about any oil filter. Only issue I have experienced with it, is that it can sometimes be tough in tight areas. Definitely recommend this oil filter wrench. Will make your life much easier whether you are a mechanic or a do it yourselfer.

Works great BUT be careful - see my review.
Works great for taking off filters including over-tightened ones. I DO NOT recommend it for putting ON filters! It's almost always best to hand-tighten filters... if you need to use a tool to snug it up, do not use this one as its "teeth" will scrape or make divots in the filter metal, and these may turn into pin-sized LEAKS.

Strong teeth, easy to use.
Strong teeth that wear very slowly. The auto adjustment is very nice. I'm a nissan quick lube so I use this about 8-25 times daily it always works and never fails. As of today I can estimate 125+ oil changes and it works like new and is barely missing any paint on the jaws

Tough pliers
Very smart design. Looks tough.Only flaw is the printing on the handle which was partially rubbed away during delivery.

Amazing one stop solution
This oil wrench is awesome. It seems to fit in all the tight spaces and has amazing grip for one hand operation. It works great on all 5 of our vehicles. Threw away all the other cups, clamp, and spring tools in various sizes I had. No longer need to get the K&N with the nut end for my F150 which is really hard to get off.

I was looking for something to grip two (2) plastic RV Hose connectors - ie: twist on/off that would be better than just my hands. These looked like they would do fine - nope - and not because they were not well designed, just won't work for this application. Cracked the plastic - as there is TOO MUCH pressure applied over a SMALL AREA. As a oil filter removal tool - I'm sure it would do very well. Sorry had to return.
