I need buy a special speaker base for this and they aren't very impressive. I hear more quality on other cheap speakers

Great value very well balanced. Be aware that while these speakers are superb they are also very large and bulky. Be conscious of the available space where you are planning to install these, the magnet is a bit excessive.

Yuck! Passable but Infinity Kappas, Pioneer D series, or NVX V series blow these out of the water! I was shocked, usually ID rocks but these are pretty harsh.

Sound amazing

I purchased these as low cost rear fill for my 90 300zx running a nakamichi head unit and PPI A404.2 amp running in 4 channels +(A600.2 w/10 sub). The sound that should come from this vintage setup is outstanding. With these rear fill they get loud but do not have any brightness in the tweeter, like none at all regardless of the crossover settings. I am used to mid 90's MB Quarts so these may be designed this way, IDK. I was hoping to replace all speakers and subs with one brand but this is not it.I drive the car only every few weeks. Last night I got in and had a cracking sound from these while they warmed up. They have like 2 hours on them so that was a disappointment. Seemed to go away but what the heck.Only reason I wrote the review as I came back to check my return window which just expired. Oh well, they can fit into something just not any stage in my premium ride.

I replaced a set of Rainbow speakers with this set. As far as song quality I have to give them a 5, I am just not that impressed by them...

They are great speakers
