great tool. easy to use to make a graft.

Since the original grafting tool I ought was a bit flimsy, I bought this one. This works well. Sometimes a little difficult the line-up the branches when cutting, making them a it cattywompus in the fit.

This is advertised as a tool for cutting grafting knotches in larger branches. It does not work for that, couldn't even get it to cut in past the cambium. I have one of the keyhole grafting tools, it works fine. This does not. Returning it. I grafted 525 fruit trees this month using the keyhole tool and a knife where that didn't work. Knife is fastest once you get the hang of it. Worth the time to learn.

Makes this a fun hobby.

Looks well built, not sure of quality of cutters as I will not use this tool until spring.

Absolutely NO directions for changing the blades. Appears to be sturdy and will probably work ok for with the installed cutting blade, but beware of effort to change to another blade. Bud cutting blade actually cuts a very small scone. Will see how it works out when weather cools some, but I have my doubts if the cut will have enough area.
