Bears (National Geographic Kids Readers, Level 3)

My granddaughter loves animals and these are great books to read and very informative

I am an elementary school teacher and I use Nat Geo Books all the time. They have a lot of informational text about the topic and they have fabulous pictures. I use these books as mentor texts when I teach non-fiction. The kids usually love these books and are engaged during the lesson.

My nephew at 2, 3 ,4 would pull these National Geographic animal magazines off the shelves even though he couldn't read. Great photos, simple explanations, good as early reader. Excellent product!!!

The best series ever for young readers. It is very hard to find books for young readers that are based on the natural world. The photos are beautiful, the storyline is full of accurate, interesting, scientific facts about the creatures, and has a vocabulary building review at the back of the book. And each book in this series has several upside down jokes that reference the animal, an added point of interest for Montessori and all children. BTW, I have gotten more than 30 of these books for my classroom. Highly recommended!

I love these books. I'm constantly looking for interesting nonfiction texts for my classroom. These are perfect for my third graders and they can not get enough of them. Kids are constantly coming up to me and telling me new facts that they have learned from the books in this series. Great for science, reading, social studies, history, vocabulary, etc. Highly recommended!

Bought for my 10 year old daughter she loved it, had good bear info in it. Bought this to put in her birthday camping gift bag. Very cute

It was good...but my 7 year old grandson, when I asked him if he wanted Grandma to read it to him, said rather condescendingly, "No Grandma, I can read it myself...but thank you."

I used this book in my 3rd grade classroom and thought it was very informative and helpful for the price. I was able to pinpoint exact points in the book to highlight with my students as well as lead them to answers in the text for the questions we asked on our KWL chart.

I read to my grandchildren on a Sunday evening and this was of interest to both my 5-year old and 10-year old.Also there was material in the book that was new to me!

Beautiful small book with a lot of great pictures and facts of bears

My daughter was learning about bears at school and so I bought her this. Very well presented, full of lots of interesting facts and a great read. My daughter was very pleased with it.
