I do wish the bottom part was a bit more stiff for transportation of the liquid to the freezer. I have to place it on a cutting board to take it to the freezer. Easy to clean, cute ice cubes. The top is a little difficult to put on but at least it comes with one per tray.

This set of silicon ice cube trays is something I've wanted for a while. I hate having to use the stiff plastic trays because they always break, or they freeze the cubes into weird slivers of ice with a solid top and bottom that crumbles. If you've never had a poor quality tray you may not understand, and if you use these silicon trays you'll never have that problem. The ice comes out in perfect hexagonal cubes EVERY TIME. I'd started to think it was my water or the freezer, but whatever it was this silicon tray produced perfect ice every time I used it. It also released the ice easily as the entire tray can be twisted in half. Lids they provide eliminate the problems i had with a previous silicon tray. They would not stack without falling into the lower tray in a column. They would also catch any trash or bad flavor that happened to pass by (my freezer doesn't stink, but kids will never be clean all the time. Or ever heh) so for what I wanted, these trays were great.

I like the little cubes, however they are hard to place in the freezer. So I made little shelves out of cardboard to put between them so they wouldn’t spill so easily. I won’t buy anymore.

I love the perfect size of the ice cubes, and how easily they pop out.

These ice cube trays are functional.The unsophisticated design does not allow for overfill to go to another space in the tray so they are not easy to fill or carry. The lids help this from being a total disaster, and do allow them to be stacked.The cubes need to be popped out individually, which can be a bit frustrating. Sometimes there is too much suction generated that you need to pull them out with two fingers.I first used these for coffee cubes and will always have to use them for coffee cubes as the smell cannot be removed. I think they were cheap so I got what I paid for!
