Really good, my girlfriend loves it, but I didn't show it to the wife.Yes the wire comes coiled up & the switch is underneath. But it is very easy to uncoil the wire and a spot of glue or invisible tape holding the glass in place makes the switch easily accessible.

Not totally happy about this...up close it just looks average...the leds come in a bundle which you have to then untangle and arrange...trouble is it just never seems to look anything more than an untangle mess of wire. The rose looks fine and life like apart from the gold leaves which are too metallic looking....the biggest issue is the on/off switch in underneath the base so you have to lift up or tilt the whole thing, issue being the glass dome is not secured in anyway to the base so the risk of dropping or smashing the glass dome is all but guaranteed....poor design and average looks are disappointing ...I use it without the leds to reduce the risk of breaking and the untidy look.....

Packaging seemed quite substantial but it arrived with the glass dome smashed.

The light is bright enough to use as a bedside light. The only thing is the on off button is underneath the base and as the dome is not fixed on and you have to lift it to get to the button it makes it a bit awkward. It would be better if it was on the side of the base

I liked the roses especially when I put in the batteries they look beautiful my friend will love it when she gets it
