NOCO Boost X GBX55: 1750A UltraSafe Jump Starter Power Pack – 12V Car Battery Booster, Portable Power Bank & Jump Leads - For 7.5L Petrol and 5.0L Diesel Engines

Bought this booster pack purely on personal recommendation from a couple of fellow Motorhome owners as there are so many compact booster packs about its very confusing. My van is left for quite some time during the Winter mths and the vehicle battery is obviously subject to a bit of natural cold weather drain and also parasitic drain from the alarm and other security features. This has been invaluable for the few times I've used it and well worth the money. Its really easy to use with plenty of power, easily starting my 2.2ltr diesel motorhome and a few times on my spare car which we use to tow behind the MoHo. I've charged up it once upon delivery and so far made around half a dozen starts on this single charge. It's still has 50% power capacity so I'm very pleased with that. It has a very useful built in bright led light which can be set as a flashing light or S.O.S. Flash. The unit can also be used as a power station for recharging lap tops, mobile phones and tablets. A very worth while addition. My experience so far would rate it as 5 stars all round and I too can highly recommend this product. It comes well packaged in its box within a box so to speak and it also has a carry bag. It is compact enough to fit into most glove boxes or carry under a seat. Brilliant bit of kit!

I used a Suaoki P4 before and was very disappointed that it never worked to successful jump start my (smaller) van. I now have a Transit Mk8 2018 2.0L & as a solo female who is building my van and plans to live in it soon, I wanted something reliable that could jump start me on the inevitable occasion that the battery got flattened (it always eventually does... no matter how careful you are for the most part) I did some research and settled on this one - I know it's somewhat overkill and I can't recall exactly what pushed me towards this model. Regardless I appreciate the neat design with the place for the clips. to clamp on for tidy storage. It was ~£185 at time of purchase and whilst not cheap I think it is well worth it. I have only charged this up once and then it has been tucked in my glovebox for a year until today. I'm not sure what happened but somehow my battery ended up completely flat with the engine not turning over at all. Thought I'd try this, thinking it probably wouldn't work... but it started instantly! Amazing! The battery not only has been stored for a year, but has contended with sub zero and over 40°C heat in the van at times. I can highly recommend. This was such a quick and faff-free solution that got me up and running quickly and without help. In a difference situation it could be a lifesaver. I think the GBX45 will be sufficient for most vans however & will save £50 or so.

Very good value n quality

We have a 2015 Mitsubishi Shogun 3.2 diesel which my wife loves. My children also have cars and always seem to park them in inaccessible locations before killing the battery expecting the jump leads to preform witchcraft. The thing is with short journeys and loads of electronic equipment in/on the car it kills the battery. My wife and young son have been stranded a couple of times waIting for me or the RAC to get to them due to a dead battery (1yr old yuassa with 5yr warranty, nothing up with it) I've been looking to get something to keep in the car just in case, this NOCO Boost X GBX55 is ideal as its good for all our car engine sizes. I ordered it on amazon (the cheapest place by miles) and expected it to be as good as all the reviews suggest. We'll it was delivered rapidly and well packaged (not excessive) from the minute I opened the box I knew I was in safe hands. Its very well made and of great quality. I have put it on charge and will see how well it performs when my wife or one of the kids next get stranded. I have no doubt it will do its job, some are moaning and I can only assume they have either not read the manual or have other issues. ....Update..... It works, a flat battery on a cold morning prompted a phone call to me from the wife in a panic she was going to miss a hospital appointment. I asked her to look in the boot for the noco booster which has been there forgotten about since we purchased it. Still fully charged might I add.... After a couple of minutes talking through what to do the car was running...Happy wife who said its one of the best things we've purchased. on the evening I just topped up the charge and its back in the boot if needed again. It's an expensive initial outlay but it's worth it in my opinion 10/10 for the noco GBX55, shame there is no hard case available....

Functionally great unit, almost idiot proof. Despite it's tiny size it has started my old Land Rover 8 times before it dropped one battery level. Charged it overnight using a normal usb wall socket no problem at all (and you can charge it from the car when you've started it). Only real gripe is that the plastic protecting the copper clips has already broken on two corners. It doesn't effect the function or safety but it doesn't bode well for something less than a week old. Overall though a great bit of kit

Incredibly convenient and easy to use. After fully charging, attached it to my 3 litres diesel vehicle and started instantly, without even having to use manual mode. Really impressive for such a small device.

Excellent back up when your batteries are ageing/glow plugs need replaced/lights left on etc.

Bardzo pomocne w tej zimy jak samochód stoi na zewnątrz w te mrozy 18 na minusie niestety skoda 1.9 TDI nie odpala podłączam noco i od szczala pali . Nie ma co kupować tańszych badziew lepiej dołożyć i kupić coś dobrego oczywiście to moja opinia

Robuuste en goede kwalteit startbooster. Geloof niet alle slechte verhalen over NOCO, dat zijn uitzonderingen die te veel zijn uitvergroot. NOCO is een van de meest bekende marktleiders in startboosters en maakt zeker geen rommel. Zelfs de Nederlandse ANWB pechhulp gebruikt dit merk! Ik heb met 1x opladen tot 4 keer en zonder enige problemen een 2.0 dieselmotor kunnen starten. Ook een dieselmotor met volledig lege accu kreeg ik gestart met de speciale lege accu functie. Het opladen gaat binnen 15-30 minuten als je een zwaardere USB-C lader met PD en goede USB-C laadkabel met PD gebruikt. (PD USB, oftewel USB Power Delivery (PD), is een universele snellaadstandaard voor USB-C-poorten die apparaten zoals smartphones en laptops sneller en veiliger kan opladen door de benodigde hoeveelheid stroom dynamisch aan te passen.)

Came with everything and is very strong I would recommend getting the case for makes it easy to put away and keep everything in one spot.
