I really admire what James Williams is doing with this book. If he leaves you feeling that you could write your own book, then he has definitely succeeded. The core belief here is to believe in yourself. Life is too short, right? Well, the author tackles the subject of shyness head on with a very approachable and straightforward style. It's just like you're having coffee and enjoying an easygoing conversation. And that's what you want. You want to build your confidence and this book provides a number of insights and guidelines to get you there.

I've read many books on persuasion and influence.. and what I appreciate about this book is the level of practicality. I think this book sums up the best strategies you apply like now without overthinking it.. thank you.

This is a very interesting and informative book. I learned many thing about myself and learned ways to improve. I thought this was easy to follow and had many years of research behind it. This was a really good book and I can’t wait to form better relationships with the skills and lessons I learned from it. The only thing I didn’t like was the misinformation about Immaculee Ilibagiza.

It was alright to read, but I did notice one consistent issue.It took a lot of time to explain everything, which on the surface is fine, but sometimes the topics it would spend a few paragraphs explaining were commonly known things that didn’t necessarily need an explanation. I found myself skipping over some paragraphs because I already knew the content within them just by reading the first line. That being said this may just be a personal thing since I’ve read a few other books that were more-or-less similar in nature. I loved the quotes used and the way the writer would sometimes use their personal life as an effective example.

It gave me lots of examples to improve my social skills
