Awesome
Loved everything about this book from front cover to back. I fell in love with the characters. They were perfect for each other, it was plain to see right from the start. Another written masterpiece by two very accomplished authors.

Jesse and Ruby
Good with his Hands is a feel-good story which leaves behind a lot of warm and fuzzies along with the desire to find a relationship as good as this one.Ruby has spent the last few years rebuilding herself following a car accident which took the life of her best friend, Claire, who also happened to be Jesse’s younger sister. Although they were friends before, Claire’s death bonded the pair in their grief. With Jesse becoming very protective of Ruby and her recovery, not wanting to jeopardise her recovery in any way.As Jesse is moving across the country to grow his business, time is running out for him to give Ruby a letter he found from his sister to Ruby. The letter is in fact a list of challenges/activities to recapture their dreams and lead them to the right path.Jesse and Ruby undertake the list together with a limited time to finish it before Jesse’s big move. I adored the interactions between Jesse and Ruby alongside the dynamic chemistry they have. Moreover, I loved the way in which each activity they undertook brought them closer together and relit their joy for life. The narrative shows the stark difference between surviving and truly living.I also adored the way in which Jesse and Ruby’s memories of Claire were brought to life through their adventures together. The best way to honour a loved one is to keep their memory alive. As the pair grow closer, they inevitably agree to a fling with a predetermined expiry date with Jesse moving across the country. But could they really just part ways when the time comes?Good with his Hands is a wonderful story which proves good things require nurturing and relationship require work as well as chemistry.

Good with his hands
Ruby & her best friend Claire decide to go on a road trip. Unfortunately an animal jumps out in front of their vehicle. Due to injuries Ruby was put into a coma only to wake some time later to find that Claire has died. Before Claire died she drew up a bucket list for her best friend to complete so Ruby can live her life again. Through out the whole book you go through Ruby's journey with the help of Jesse (Claire's brother) to discover who she is & what she wants out of life

Swoon worthy
It has certainly been a hectic month for me, but whenever i managed to find a spare moment i was so glad that i had this book to read on my kindle. These are too authors that go together like chocolate and marshmallows, the writing is sweet, dirty and just oh so right.Ruby has just finished two years of physical therapy after a car accident that had her in a coma and took the life of her very best friend. It is Claire's brother Jesse that provides a way to get her old self back by providing a list of things to do that her best friend had written for her to do. Little do they both know that the closeness that they had before is going to get even closer and grow into something they both want and need. There are lots of sexy times, lots of speaking the truth and good supporting friends and family for the pair when they need it.I loved the whole book and the epilogues including the tidbit that gives us a clue into the fact that it is the wonderful Gigi that has her happy ending next.I am really looking forward to the next collaboration that these two authors come up with.

5 Try Something New Stars
Lauren Blakely and Lili Valente, what a dream team, their writing complements each other so much. The story, what can I say? Funny, cute, and oh so sweet. I love best friend sibling romances, even if the best friend is no longer in the picture, which made it all the more emotional. No hearts will get broken in this ‘friends with benefits’ romance. Yeh right. Jessie Hendrix, he was pretty much perfect, he understood Ruby Valentine so much, he just got her, he was so lovely, all he wanted was for Ruby to be happy. Then there’s Ruby who has had a crush on her best friend’s brother for what seems like forever. Sweet, enjoyable romance with a couple of surprises added in the mix. Angst free and totally addictive. I received an advanced copy of this book. This is my honest review. Narrated by Joe Arden - I adore his voice, I could listen to him all day, he’s the perfect Jessie. Ruby is narrated by Lili Valente, and let me tell you, I loved her, what a wonderful surprise to have the author narrate.

Gorgeous read!
Delightful, delicious, poignant, charming...are just a few adjectives to describe this book which is bursting with heart. Both Ruby and Jesse are heart melters with their innate kindness and humour. Their feelings run deep and it is a testimony to Lauren Blakely and Lili Valente that they can incorporate grief into a story in a style that leaves no doubt as to the depth of feelings, without once descending into sentimentality. Claire is a treasured and welcomed presence throughout. This book has been a joy to read and has left me feeling better than when I started it. Thank you Lauren and Lili💖💖💖💖💖
