Very nice flame bulbs and power requirements.
The flame bulbs work great and provide great ambiance in the camp site. Very easy on the eyes in the dark. The listing has very confusing voltage requirements. The listing says for 12 volt, 10 to 13 volt and 12 to 24 volt. I asked the seller for what the voltage range was and they said 12 to 24 volts. I am running the bulbs on a 18 volt Ridgid battery that has a nominal voltage of around 20 volts. The 4 watt draw allows the bulbs to run a very long time on a 4AH Ridgid Li battery.

Beautiful Flame Flicker lights
Been using these for years. Little to no trouble with them. These are currently powered by my 12v ac power output landscape lighting power supply. Photo cell to come on at dark. Some people have negative reviews for this bulb but I am leaning toward it is more user error than anything. It is very important that if your lights are hooked in series ( a string) on an ac system that all lights are wired the same. I used the printed side of my landscape wire to identify the positive side. Non printed side for negative. I suspect some people are upgrading their lighting and overlooking this. You can not cross connect positive and negative wires in a series and not expect to have issues. This will cause a short circuit. These bulbs are also 12 volt ac or dc and not 110v !! Although you can use any outdoor 110v light fixture and power it by 12 volts ac or dc like I did. These lights are gorgeous at night. Not too bright and not too dim. They fit perfectly in the light fixtures I used. Look about as close to a real flame as u can get from led lights. If your sick and tired of unreliable solar lights and want something long lasting then go this route for peace of mind and years of lighting. I also got the fixtures off of Amazon, the are post lights just mounted closer to the ground, all aluminum, not cheap plastic.

Failed in 53 Days!!!
I use a number of these on my property. I have some that have worked flawlessly for 5 years+. This one lasted exactly 53 days. No hints, no warning; simply stopped working. Tested the fixture with another bulb and it works fine. If you are in the market for a bulb of this style that needs replacing every 7 weeks or so and effectively costs 28 cents per day, your search is over! Maybe the timer when bad and it will flicker once every year (just like real fire!) - lol. Of course, it comes with a 30 day warranty. So I guess I got twice it's expected lifetime! So tired of cheap garbage that is fine initially, only to fail shortly after the warranty is up. I'd think twice (or three or four times) before purchasing one of these! When it was working, there were no issues and it matched my much older others perfectly.

Looks Great all year around, but even better with snow!
Nice and bright, had it in our lamp post for over four years, even had a super nice neighbor told us that he was up in the middle of the night saw it and put his coat on and walked over to check it out for he thought the post was flickering and was on fire, as he told us the next day. Great value for the money.

Not the effect I wanted
Heavily defused and more of an orange "Breathing Effect" than a flickering flame. I want to put some in the bottom of an old chimenea to look like there is a fire in it. Also mount in torches around the garden. These are not very flame like compared to the solar torches already deployed. Sent them back and will continue the hunt for 12vdc to run off my master garden solar panels. OK but just not what I wanted.
