Q: What is the seat height, packed away doesnt help

The chair is 54 inches from ground to top of the back of the seat. It’s obvious from just looking the height of the seat is more than half of the 54 inches, the majority of the height ifs legs. It’s 30 inches from ground to the seat.

Q: Has anyone used successfully in the classroom? I have some short term health issues that require extra care.

I’ve not used it in a classroom, but I see no reason it could not be. I’m 6’4” tall and that is why I bought it. It’s easy for me to get out of. I use it mostly for photography to sit behind my tripod.

Q: I’m 5’2”. Can one use foot rest to get in position to sit in chair?

Sure I am 5’3 and that’s how I get into my chair! I even use my foot rest to see the action down the racetrack
