The width of the 2 pieces together are approximately 14 1/2 " & the length is approximately 26 1/2 " The parameter of all sides of the racks do not touch the sides of the sink ~ fits perfectly Yes both pieces were included in my purchase when I bought them as I recall? I purchased them last year If you pay for a Kohler enamel farm sink these racks are a must as they protect the bottom portion of the sink from pot marks & scratching & saving you time scrubbing out those marks. No, it should not overlap. The two pieces should sit side-by-side, with the two middle ends practically touching each other. That's what mine do. I made sure I bought the rack model number that fit the 33-inch Kohler sink, and it does.

Does this fit the Kohler 6489?

No this will not fit the the kohler 6489. This rack is for a different sink
