Fast-paced, excellent mystery and action scenes and just so much fun to read!!
Series Info/Source: This is the second book in the Harbinger series. I bought this as an ebook for my Kindle.Story (5/5): This story starts out right where the last book left off. The identity of the Harbinger is a mystery that Trinity and Zayne must solve. The Harbinger has started killing Wardens much more publicly and they must turn to Roth and his demons for help. Meanwhile Zayne and Trinity are also having a difficult time controlling their feelings for each other and, although they know they are forbidden to be together, they donāt understand the true consequences of what will happen if they are. This story is intense and full of action and very fast-paced. It also has some humor throughout and some amazing scenes between Zayne and Trinity. I was sucked right into it and couldnāt put it down.Characters (5/5): I absolutely love Zayne and Trinity; they both try so hard and are such amazing characters. The relationship between them is both sizzling and caring all at once and I loved it. I went back and read āThe Dark Elementsā series featuring Roth and Layla before reading this second book in the Harbinger series and am happy I did. Reading āThe Dark Elementsā series helped me to understand Roth a lot better and follow some of the things Zayne is going through as well. Armentrout did an amazing job with these characters.Setting (4/5): The book is set in DC which is fine but doesnāt really feature much in this story. This story is much more driven by the characters and the mystery of the Harbinger than anything else.Writing (5/5): I am absolutely loving Armentroutās writing style, her books remind me a lot of Annette Marieās books. Her writing is fast-paced, and she does an amazing job writing action scenes. She also does a wonderful job with witty dialogue and making you really love the characters in the story. I think this series is a lot more polished than āThe Dark Elements ā series which precedes this series in this world. Reading the Harbinger series makes me want to go back and check out other series by her. For a while I was getting her confused with Jennifer Armintrout (with an āiā) who wrote the Blood Ties series, which was pretty awful...donāt do that...stick with Jennifer L. Armentrout. My Summary (5/5): Overall I really loved this addition to the Harbinger series. This is an urban fantasy with heavy romance elements and an excellent mystery. Itās a very guilty pleasure type of read. I read the whole thing in a couple sittings and struggled to put it down. If you love fast-paced urban fantasy with amazing fight scenes, an excellent mystery, and some sizzling romance I would definitely recommend this series to you. I canāt wait to read the next one!

Still not over the ending
This book was intense and suspenseful to say the least. Iām still not fully over the ending and all the more amped up for the third and last book. June the first cannot be here soon enough. While I am absolutely and tragically in love with the climax and ending of Rage and Ruin I gotta be honest, I had issues at the start of this book. The beginning was kind of a slow poke with a lot of recapping and rambling that felt unnecessary (explanations that we already gotten in previous books). It made the story kind of stand still with the only real focus between Zayne and Trinity. From the drama in Storm and Fury I had really high hopes of drama in the relationship, but even that was kind of on a stand still. Enter Stacey. As soon as the plot picked up, around the time Stacey started getting involved in the story, I was completely drawn into the story. I loved the fights, drama and arguments between Zayne and Trinity caused by Stacey (among other things) and I was kind of angry on Trinityās behalf. I loved it even more when it lead to something even bigger between the two along with their joke full banter. The only thing that annoyed me a bit was how it was kind of made to seem as both was at equal fault when, according to me, Zayne was more in the wrong. Then him saying the things he did and then never again acknowledging it or apologizing was kind of unsatisfying. They kind of just moved on from it like it never happened. It made it more forgivable though with the moments of them together and then the ending.I wish to say so much about the ending but cannot say anything I want without spoiling it. The only thing I can say is that it moved me to tears and I have never been so excited for the conclusion. The only thing that could have made it even better would be to remove the evil villain āreveal all my plans and secrets for no reasonā monologue. That with the slow beginning makes the book land on four stars for me, but really close to five.

Amazing book.
This book had me feeling so many things! It made me laugh, happy, excited but also mad, frustrated and angry! So many things happened that I did not expect! The ending was something I already knew because sadly I read a spoiler but still I really need more answers!I didn't know that Layla and Roth would be in these books so much but I really like it! Especially Bambi!! šSo I'm very excited to read the last book in this series and see what the hell happened and how things will end!

You won't want to put this book down! 5 stars read!
Oh my God! I have no idea where to start this review because my mind is still trying to focus on everything that happened in it. Rage and Ruin continues where Storm and Fury ended and Trinity and Zayne are determined to find the Harbinger. Of course, they have no sure way or knowing how to find it or any idea who it might be.I still love Trinity. Sheās far from being perfect and sometimes, I wanted to give her a little slap behind the head, but still, sheās just such a refreshing character. Trinity will learn a lot about herself in this book. I really enjoyed the process she goes through in this book as events unfold and actions are taken that makes her doubt who she was sometimes. Personally, I feel like she had done a lot of personal growth in this book and was more aware of whom she was too.Trinity and Zayne are obviously both trying to resist the pull they have towards one another while also not being able to stay away from it either which will cause a lot of frictions throughout the book, not counting how they are both dealing with it differently and making it even more difficult for them. I really liked how their relationship evolved in this book because you see both ups and downs of it and you see them work through those slowly but surely. And Zayne. What can I say about him? I really loved him in this book as well. If sometimes I felt like hitting him too, I really loved his personality and Iām really enjoying seeing a new side of Zayne that we didnāt experience in the first series, The Dark Elements. Also, old characters from The Dark Elements also make an appearance in this book and it brought a whole new twist to this series. I really enjoyed seeing them again and not to spoil anything, I will leave it at that.So much happens in this book as well. Itās hard to go into details about it without trying to spoil the book, but just be ready that you might be going through a long range of emotions with this book. Trinity, Zayne, Roth, Layla and company have a lot to deal with in this book and each time they unfolded some more information about what they might have to face, there always seem to have a new twist that was added to complicate their situation.Overall, this was another awesome addition to this series. Honestly, I feel this review is short, but I was sort of left without words after I was done reading. I loved this book so much and it got me through so many emotions that Iām not sure Iām over it yet so be prepare that you might feel like me after youāre done reading it. Jennifer L. Armentrout once again showed her amazing talent to keep us unable to close a book and to always demand more. I cannot wait to see whatās in store for the next book especially with everything that we learned in this one.
