For some reason, I could not find a simple nutcracker in any retail store. So, I came to Amazon to solve that issue. These definitely crack nuts but it's a little bit on the flimsy side. The first time I used them, the handles did not line up evenly and the cracked nut was off center. I would say that these are great in a pinch and to use both hands. I don't need these often so it's not bothersome for me that they aren't the sturdiest.

Besides being an excellent nutcracker, I use this to open stubborn water bottles.

I really wanted to like this product. But I am not overly impressed. The teeth that grip the nut when you crack it are woefully inadequate. The nut wants to skip out of the crackers grip. Simple thing for maker to fix! Wish they would!!!

This product is an economical version of the old classic nut cracking tool.It has performed well for me.

Nice for the price. Can store away easy as well!
