UPDATE failed after 4 mths - Surprisingly sturdy, and as large as claimed
UPDATE: Glass spontaneously broke at the top of the handle, out of dishwasher, after 4 months of daily use.Pleasantly surprised how sturdy this seems, considering the glass construction. The minimalist design is great. Large, comfortable handle. Volume actually nearer 19 oz. Lid not wood, glued bamboo, but I didn't buy this for the lid. Great cup!

Such a great tea mug!
This mug feels delicate but it is great! I love a mug of hot tea in the afternoon and now I use this mug every single day! There is plenty of room in the basket for your favorite loose leaf tea, and the mug keeps things nice and warm. I am buying another one for a gift now!

it seems to be good contraction but lid ma be bit of loose.
i have received mug today and i have used this and it hold good amount of liquid such as tea, water, etc. i have not yet use the infuser so will try later but seems to be clean and looks good. this is only my preference but the lid is too loose for me if i am using as a lid instead of using a infuser dish.
