Cool for indirect lighting
Great molding but it is translucent so you may need to line it with something opaque. I ended up painting it with a few extra coats of paint. I would place it at least 6" down from the ceiling to get the best effect. Use a good construction adhesive that gives you time to position it.

Works as expected, hold brad nails well
High quality material, cuts easy with a table saw, holds Brad nails well. You need to paint it well because it is translucent. Place it 6-7 inches below ceiling to allow for adequate light coverage. Looks cool

Used for home theater lighting
I used this molding for lighting in my Dolby Atmos theater room. These are light and easy to cut, however they are pretty transparent and you will at the very least need to paint them otherwise your LED lights will be highly visible within them. In my case it did not matter because I needed to paint black to match the color of my theater room. Once painted I used 3M Metallized Flexible Duct Tape on the inside of the moulding. This allowed for reflecting more light out of the channel. All in all a good product that did suit my needs.

Worked Perfectly
These worked so well. I did end up hiring a handyman who set them up he moved an outlet up so we don't have cordes hanging down. I did paint them and put in the aluminum duct tape like others recommended. My maintenance man recommended using nails to attach the wall, using the glue others said would damage the wall when removed.

Amazing product
Great product, if you install properly. Adhesive alone will not hold this. I drilled holes down at angles, used white finish screws, and some adhesive and came out perfect. LED lighting strip went in easy.

Best boxing/shipping department EVER!
I'm the GC, so I don't care that it's pretty, but it is. Perfectly straight extrusions. I'm sure the designer is going to get praise for the lighting. BUT, the star of the show is the shipping department. The box arrived slightly beaten, but the full length reinforcement cardboard did its job. Reinforced strapping tape kept it all together. Definitely not an Amazon boxing crew. Thanks!
