Brilliant, heady, sensual stuff!💕
This should have 10*s! Riveting, sexy, romantic - I was hooked from the first page to the last. Totally electrifying. Add in humour, pathos and be prepared to settle into an exceptional read because this is just that. What are you waiting for - get reading! LOVED THIS. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. ❤💕👄💞💋💘

Good but not exciting 😐
Loved the whole plot BUT Penelope's excuse was so lame it lost a star 😔.Gabriel was the protective dad of 4 year old Bethany. This kid was a star and would have loved more interaction especially near the end.Autumn needs a job and gets one....here comes the nanny. She was such a free spirit... Vibrant...enthusiastic and about to be reeled in.Gabriel was successful and protective. He was a no mover in anything unless he got cornered.Anyway they're playing happy families with a bit of booty call on the side but then in walks Penelope who did a three year disappearing act and Gabriel's world is upside down especially when Autumn walks out 😱.Well written but not exciting especially Penelope's excuse.

It has it all!!!
Oh I loved this story so so much !!! Louise Bay writes the best English heroes and her attentions to details is remarkable. I literally could picture all the londonien places in my head.Gabriel is a single dad who is done with women since his wife left him and his adorable daughter, Bethany, behind. He’s a workaholic and wants to provide the best life possible for Bethany. He decided to hire his best friend’s fiancée sister as a nanny for the summer. Autumn entered their life and took it by storm. She’s bubbly, full of life, funny and so caring! The chemistry between them was hot hot hot and who would have I thought that Gabriel was so .... yup you understand what I mean !!Autumn has plans and she wants to see the world but what will happen when she will have to leave Gabriel and Bethany... and her heart behind? Will she leave? Will Gabriel ask her to stay?Mr Smithfield was a fabulous heartfelt story! It’s another must read from Louise Bay and I can’t wait to read more from the gang!

Steamy and with banter too
Mr Smithfield is another great book in the Mister series.Gabriel and Autumn have an instant connection, which you can feel from the start of the book.I loved the chemistry between them and the banter throughout the book, particularly between Gabriel and the boys. They are just as funny as they were in the first book, Mr Mayfair. There was plenty of steam as well as a bit of angst. The story had me wanting to turn the pages from the beginning and at times I really didn’t want to put it down even when I needed to sleep! If you enjoy reading about a billionaire, opposites attract, best friends wife’s sister romance with the added ex wife and daughter then this book is for you.

sweet story
Enjoyable short book, where single dad Gabriel meet Autumn a girl from a trailer park in America. She is hired as the nanny, but seems that true love is in the air. An estranged wife tries to derail them, but happy ever after wins.

The nanny and the hot dad. Yes please!
I'm a Louise Bay superfan. I adore her character development, stories and ability to make you laugh, cry and eye roll. Gabriel and Autumn encompasses all the above. I read this in one sitting, literally couldn't put it down. I've read the previous books on the series (if you haven't yet, go check out Gabriel's friends. You will love them, I promise!!)If you're after a story that will whisk you away to wonderful London Town, characters that make you laugh and swoon as well as get down and oh so dirty.... this is the one for you.

Another amazing read in the Mr. Series!
After finishing Mr. Knightsbridge, I was a little concerned about how well I would like Autumn as a character. She is young, but to my delight, it wasn’t really a big part of her character in Mr. Smithfield. She is charming, funny, and quite a bit more put together than I was at her “age.” Her bright and sunny personality is the perfect compliment to the reserved Gabriel. I loved how he couldn't seem to resist her with his daughter. Their love story is a bit of a messy journey but sometimes love is like that.Autumn comes to London and spends a few months as Gabriel’s live-in nanny before taking a post graduate internship at an international company. They both felt attraction at first sight but both are reluctant to pursue it until one night. From that point forward, their sweet story just gets better and better. But of course things can’t be that simple and sweet. Otherwise it would be a boring book. Gabriel’s ex comes back into the picture and drama ensues. I absolutely loved the ending and the grand gesture, which I refuse to spoil. This story will leave you with all the warm fuzzies of a good romance story. I love how consistently good Louise Bay’s books are. They are each a unique story, but fundamentally so well done, with driving plot and likeable characters with depth. They are much more than a fluffy love story.

Perfect!
I love this series so much, there’s a lot to like about and I can say this book was my favorite from them all. There was that forbidden boss-nanny factor, but not only that she was the future sister-in-law of his best friend/brother by heart, Daniel. But after all Gabriel and Autumn were so perfect! They brought a lot of steamy, emotional and funny scenes to the table and I couldn’t get enough of them!First of all I want to be clear that one of my favorite things in this series is the interaction between all the friends. Gabriel, Joshua, Andrew, Tristan, Beck, and Dexter, have known each other for a long time and they are more than best friends, they are brothers that found each other when they need the most. There’s not a thing they won’t do for each other and their banter, teasing and loving relationship is always the highlight for me.Autumn was the perfect addition to the group, she brought an optimism and light to their worlds, especially to Gabriel in a time that he needed the most. It was endearing their interaction and how she manage to break his grumpy and serious armor. She gives a lot to the people and finally she found someone to give back to her. Gabriel surpass any anything that I imagine, I swoon hard and fell for him even harder. He was dirty in the sheets, or table or any flat surface, but caring and loving in every touch and word.Around the famous 80% I got I little confused about what was happening and stayed that way over 2 or 3 chapters, until finally hit me and I almost screamed... no, just no! If I had Louise’s number I’d call her and scream at her. Anyway, the last chapters and the epilogue was so inspiring, touching and romantic, especially to me because I found myself in a job predicament such as Gabriel. I love this book and I highly recommend to anyone!

Very good
I discovered the writer and this series not long ago and have read all of the collection. Light but captivating, with the right dose of sensuality and romance.

Such a great series.
This is a great series of books. The characters are really likeable, and the chemistry between the main characters feels real, both in how it grows and pace. The friendship between all of the men is well played out, but the only negative thing I could say against that is that I'd love to see more backstory on the other guys come out in the previous books... We barely know their names, they're so rarely mentioned before their book is due to come up...I have still really enjoyed this series immensely.
