Grafix Dura-Lar .001” Ultra-Clear Film, Acetate Alternative, Glossy Surface for Coverings, Stencils, Color Separation, Window Applications, Transparencies, and More, 54" x 50 Feet

This material is stiff enough to work with, doesn't easily krinkle, and cuts easy enough. I use this product as monitor cover sheet, crystal clear and very, very thin. I tried a lot of different plastic sheets types, most are .002, which is too thick and not transparent enough, for covering my screens, or too thin like plastic wrap. But this is exactly what I was looking for. This roll will cover many, many monitors. Cleans easy with Windex. Tape them to the monitor using 1/2" wide Kapton tape, which never leaves a residue.

I used this product to build three dimensional gemstones and it was perfect. I needed something soft enough to fold without cracking but strong enough to support the weight of an LED tea light and to hold up to rain/wind. It was perfect.I bought a handful of rolls and each one matched the description's measurements. Both sides are matte and more opaque than not--light will transmit through (as evidenced by the attached picture) but not everything will. This company does make clear plastic sheeting if that suits your needs better. Both sides can be written/drawn on. Pencil erases very easily (but not so easily that it will smudge off). I'm excited to use this again for more projects, and to expand upon the installation I originally bought this for.

I used a whole roll (yes, it was indeed 20” x 12 ft) trying out color pencil....I just ordered my second roll along with the wet media grafix dura lar so I can try it out using water color and inktense....I’ve added a couple photo’s of my colored pencil drawings. There are advantages and disadvantages of any media....most colored pencil paper/media requires 20 layers to build up color depth...that will never happen with this dura lar matte, it holds about 3 to 5 layers depending on brand of colored pencil used. Some might call this a disadvantage, but I love it. I’ve got to get the color just right within one to three layers, which means this process goes way faster and means less time sharpening my pencils down to stumps. At the cost of quality colored pencils...using this dura lar....also saves me money in buying less colored pencil replacements. This Dura-Lar can also sustain 100% erasing as well....but gently....otherwise erasing can flatten out the tooth of this material to where is super smooth and shiny and won’t hold color. I learned to use an electric erasure with very little pressure...fantastic media. No other media allows for 100% clean erasing. Also, no need for blenders nor sealant, another money saver. I will continue using for my colored pencil art....after Using one roll....I have no negatives.

This product met my expectations. For the purpose I wanted it for I could have perhaps used a slightly thicker version. However the measurements are given incorrectly! This roll is 54 inches by 12 feet. So, I ended up with much more than expected or needed for the intended use. But it is agood product and I will make use of it.

I purchased this to make a custom pyrography stencil. The material held up better than expected while using my wood burning tool near it. I used my Cricut to cut the design. The fine point blade does NOT do well cutting this thick material. It quickly dulled 2 blades. I will try the deep-point blade next time.

The roll that I received was only 11' of film, I very carefully unrolled and cut at precisely 6', then went to put the second piece next to the first and there's a foot missing. I can make do, but it seems like a scam to sell 11 feet as 12 feet

This material is excellent for pencil or ink drawing. It is stable over a wide range of humidity levels, erases easily, and seems resistant to solvents used to erase mistakes in ink. I use it for drawings of stained glass panels, where it tolerates the cutting of glass on it, and installation of lead came during assembly.

Great quality item

Easier to use than the 40" roll, and cheaper to buy 2 of these.

The discreption does not say it being a wrap.For the price I paid I expected something sturdier for my craft.This is disappointing ,and a rip-off!

Great for all kinds of medium.

As I've used this drafting film to draw on, I cut pieces to size depending on what I am drawing. It deserves 5 stars, but unfortunately there is a line running through one end of the roll, about 6 inches from the end. I didn't see the flaw until I started working on my first piece of work. That said, this is a fantastic drawing surface, great for coloured pencil, graphite and ink. I was disappointed with the flaw in the roll I received but have not returned it. Been trying to cut around it for specific sizes. I will be following up with customer service.
