This is my second silk pillowcase purchase, as I want to rotate pillowcases when one is being soaked and later hand-washed (details below). My first purchase was a 22 momme silk pillowcase from another reputable company and seller on Amazon, Colorado Home Co.I inquired with Fishers Finery customer service on Amazon and they quickly responded with a friendly reply.This, my second silk pillowcase purchase on Amazon, was the 25 momme, white (undyed), pillowcase from Fishers Finery. This product is truly authentic, 100% silk. The quality and softness are superb. The packaging for this item is a very pleasant, big & stiff square, dark blue colored paperboard. If you buy their 30 momme silk pillowcase it comes in an even nicer packaging, a dark black, cardboard box with their company signature on top.Note, generally speaking, the nicer the packaging, the more you pay for the silk pillowcase product-- in fact, it can increase the price of the product by $15 to $20 approximately when you purchase a silk pillowcase that comes in a nice gift box.TIP on HOW TO WASH this item: Have a couple of silk pillowcases so you can rotate them when one is being washed as I describe here:a. Do not machine wash or machine dry.b. If there are any stains, use Ecover Stain Remover liquid (6.8 oz), available on Amazon and at grocery stores like Natural Grocers. Simply thoroughly spot dab the Ecover liquid stain remover on all stains. I had some blood stains on my other silk pillowcase (from Colorado Home Co.) due to a scab that broke on my head. I was worried the blood stain would not come out. I soaked the Ecover liquid stain remover on the pillowcase for 24hrs.c. Then, fill a bucket full of cool to warm water and a liquid detergent for delicate items (made for wool or silk). Not marketed as a detergent in this case, but I used Soapnut shampoo (unscented) soap that I purchased from an Amazon seller called Nature Sustained. Any Soapnut shampoo, body wash, or detergent (all are sold online or in some health food stores), are basically all the same and can be interchanged to cleanse your body, hair, or fabric (clothing or bedding). 100% pure Soapnut shampoo/liquid soap is very gentle but effective, as well as chemical free and very environmentally friendly. For some reason, as of 10/2022, it is very hard to find 100% pure Soapnut shampoo/soap (containing only Soapnut liquid and natural preservative) on Amazon or online.d. I then placed the silk pillowcase in the bucket of water, and I gently hand washed for about a minute. Then I let it soak for 24 hours. After 24 hours, I hand washed again for about a minute. Then I emptied the bucket of water and filled with clean water and rinsed the pillowcase in this manner. I then hung the silk pillowcase to dry over a wooden rack. You may also lay it flat to dry on a towel on a counter.The result? All the blood stains came out and there were no wrinkles (of course pillowcase was not as flat looking as when new).RE: Temperature Regulation-- I purchased this item as my body runs hot and thus, I also sleep hot. So, I needed a temperature regulating fabric in order to sleep better. Sleeping on a silk pillowcase does not cure all one's sleeping hot woes. However, it certainly was palpable in that the silk pillowcase did indeed reduce warmth. I cannot afford silk sheets at the moment, but having at least a silk pillowcase is the most important in order to reduce heat in the head area.A much less expensive (less than half the price), but very effective alternative to silk sheets, in order to sleep cooler, is 100% Egyptian Cotton sheets. So, I purchased this on Amazon: "Pure Parima Luxury 100% CEA Certified Egyptian Cotton Sheet Bed Set | Extra-Long Staple | Cool, Breathable, Ultra Comfort | Double Hem-Stitched | Flat, Fitted, and 2 Pillow Cases". These sheets did the trick and I sleep cooler. Another alternative is "Everhome Egyptian Cotton 700-Thread-Count sheet" available at your local and online bed and bath store.I am very pleased with this purchase and I can't wait to buy another 100% pure silk pillowcase from Fishers Finery.This item is "Practical Perry" approved. ; )

I had purchased some other silk pillowcases a few years back. They all had zippers for closures. This pillowcase has an envelope closure that I prefer. All of the zippered ones developed holes by the zipper within 2 years. I tried to repair the holes but they just ripped open again. The Fishers Finery pillowcase is a more substantial silk as well. I highly recommend it!

this pillowcase is just fine. it's soft enough, though not as soft as the inexpensive synthetic versions I've purchased in the past. it's easy to launder--I wash it in warm water with my sheets and then air dry. and it's held up nicely over the past 9 months of daily use and regular washing. I did get a stain on it at some point, and that came out easily in the wash. I'm not sure I'm seeing any benefit or difference between this and the cheaper synthetic models I already own, but because I paid so much more for this, it's the one I prefer to use on a daily basis.

I have a set of standard pillow cases from this brand and I love them. The feel is great, never seems to sleep hot, and protects my curly hair. The king size pillow cases are just as high quality EXCEPT they are actually too short for king size pillows. I will take some responsibility for assuming all measurements were standard but alas, they are not.

I’ve purchased the super expensive silk cases from another company and they didn’t last even with hand washing. I tried these a year ago and loved them and at half the price! They’re gorgeous and wash beautifully! The reason I had to buy a 2nd set is bc my laundry service “lost” them. I will be washing these myself from now on! I think they’re better than celebrity endorsed blissy! You won’t regret it!

This pillow case is just what manufacturer advertised, silky, high quality. Love the texture and feel, no odd smell often associated with new products. Love the feel on my face and slept so well, haven’t washed it yet, but plan to follow directions for its care and do the hand wash. Thinking I need to order another,

The media could not be loaded.  Update: I have slept on this several nights and it stays in the envelope closure perfectly - even when I had a restless toss-and-turn night.----I have had 2 different zipper closure silk pillowcases and I am O.V.E.R>I.T! So happy this is an envelope closure. The zipper closures start to unravel, come unstitched, and in the instance of the silk pillowcase I’ve been using, it finally just ripped all down the zipper.This fishers finery is super soft.The size I ordered is a standard and I have room to spare but I do need a new pillow and if I put my more beefier pillow in there, it’s just right. The down pillow I have is smaller.Comes with a mesh bag to wash it in. You can wash in the washer and dry in the dryer - on delicate in the washer and on air dry in the dryer. Or hand wash. I do not have the patience to hand wash and it seems it wouldn’t be clean enough for me to do that anyway.The color I have is NATURAL WHITE (undyed) and note that this has a more ‘ivory’ or hint of creamy white to it. I took a video and compared it to a white blanket and a taupe pillowcase, and cream colored sheets so you could see the different tones against this pillow case.I love it! So happy with my order.

Easy to launder and smooth comfortable pillowcase.

This is my second purchase from Fishers Finery. After many washes (delicates cycle) the case kept its colour without wearing out so I decided to buy again. I was pleasantly surprised to receive a complementary mesh laundry bag. Amazing quality overall.

I recently heard a lot about the benefits of silk pillow cases. Things like moderating skin temperature, rejuvenating skin, even hair. All in all, claims that 100% silk pillow case were beneficial for sleep. So, I ordered two 25mm Mulberry Silk Standard size pillow cases from Amazon (Fisher's Finery). Very expensive but was pleasantly surprised to not have to pay additional custom charges when the item arrived (int'l shipment). Also, I didn't have the experience of the item arriving packaged in a bag vs box. This one came in an elegant Fisher's Finery linen box (encased in a plastic bag). However, after trying the pillow cases for a few nights both my wife and I experienced sleep sweats (head/neck). I only sweat when I'm sick. Neither of us felt that our sleep quality was improved whatsoever since using the silk pillow cases. On the contrary.Our advice, stick to a high quality cotton pillow case (for half the price).

I doubt that this is actually 100% silk, especially after using it for a few weeks. I have about 4 other FF pillowcases, all ordered from their website. I wanted to save the shipping so bought one here and am not happy with the product.
