Good book repair tool.
Watch for seams and glue overruns. Otherwise, it works well. Buy a book repair kit with a "bone folder tool" to make the tape fit into tight seams and smooth out wrinkles in tape application.

Easy to use
This tape makes the job of matting artwork a breeze. Much easier than the previous method I used.

This tape gets the job done.
I used this tape in tandem with some Monscoly PVA Neutral PH glue for a book repair, and the results were more than what I hoped for. This tape has a strong adhesive already, and the quality is great, but combine it with some PVA Neutral PH glue, and the adhesion is taken up to another level.

Great Archival Hinge Tape!
Very good acid free tape for art and photographs, mats and mat board. Initially I had trouble peeling away the tape from its paper backing. But the trick is to cut the tape to your desired length and then scrape the edge of the tape with your thumbnail. This allows you to better access the tape and peel it up from the backing. Note make sure the art or photo is where you want it before applying the tape. Once on it will stay that way! If you mess up you might have to start over, not a big deal just an inconvenience!

Good tape
Needed for a class and worked well. Good adhesion, not too good on removal, I think, because it tears.

Works great for photos
I'm not sure if it would hold up thicker card stock or a canvas painting, both of which I've had come loose with other acid-free tape, but this works great for photos. People have said that it's hard to peel off the paper, but the box is designed so that you only have to peel it once and then you thread the paper through a tab on the box that automatically separates the paper backing from the linen tape. I matted and framed a bunch of photos with ease. I had no trouble peeling off the tape from the mat or the photo to reposition the photo when necessary; doing so made no damage to the mat or the photo. I'm not sure if the tape would come off a thinner paper print without damage, but it might if one peeled very carefully. I don't yet know how the taping will hold up, but the tape appears to have just the right amount of adhesiveness for photos, so I'm optimistic.

Great Tape
This tape is great for attaching artworks to matting when framing. It can be kinda difficult to separate the backing from the tape so if you have any motor skills or hand issues, that could be a problem. Otherwise, I’ve purchased this tape three times and will continue to purchase. Make sure you invest in archival materials so that your artwork lasts as long as possible.
