Harmony Nutraceuticals Calm Bowels - Gastrointestinal Comfort Dr Gumman's Integrative Highest Potency Maximum Bioavailable 120 Vegan Capsules

I suffer from ulcerative colitis and I'm always searching for a way to calm things down. Mind you, this is NOT A CURE for my ulcerative colitis - I certainly, with a team of doctors at The Mayo Clinic, Mass General and Mt. Sinai have been unable to stop it - cut this does calm things down. What do I mean by "calm things down"? I mean that after two weeks of daily use, I have a bit less pain in my gut - by a bit less, I'd say I moved from a normal 5-6 pain level to a 3-5 pain level - certainly enough to notice and mention it to my main gastroenterologist. There is nothing in here that one could not "make at home", but finding the sources of all the herbs and the right amounts leaves me realizing that I'm fine with paying more for the finished product, in quality form, rather than saving a few bucks and trying to do all the work myself. The pills are a bit on the large side, so this may present an issue for some.

As I have IBS, I am always looking for something to help; this seems to alleviate it, at least so far. I plan on using it from now on as it is natural.

We have a family member with IBS, so we are always willing to try something new. We've never used the Gingerine extract, but reading more, I see that Ginger is one of the most commonly used herbal medicines for IBS. The ingredients here seem high quality, and so far we are seeing some results. We will keep using this.

I was really impressed by this supplement company and blend. There are a lot of knock off supplement blends on Amazon that also have unnecessary fillers and are selling the same old blends. When I see a blend like this which is unique, filler free, and the science is there to back it up I get excited to try it! I have chronic gut/bowel issues and I am always looking for things that might make a difference when I'm having a flare up. I was really blown away at the variety of quality extracts in this blend! They went out of their way to add standardized extracts and were smart enough to do things like make sure they're sourcing DGL instead of standard licorice, which is a mistake that I see with supplement manufacturers do to cut corners. I'd even be impressed if these were just normal supplements vs extracts but they are all standardized, meaning that we know the potency and we're getting a minimum amount of the plant that does help for these types of problems. For me personally I wasn't able to see much of a difference but everyone is different. I think this supplement is heavy in boswellia as others have noted by the smell and that may help more in certain gut issues than others. In any case between these pills and some other gut tinctures on days when I'm feeling off, things certainly don't get any worse and may help me recover a bit faster into the next day. I was really glad to learn of Dr Gumman's and plan to check out their other blends which also look to be expertly formulated and filler free, which is just rarer and rarer these days, so bravo :)

I have been taking this everyday for two weeks not and I just had to come back to review it and say it has made a great improvement on my belly!!!! I have a lot of gastrointestinal issues but for the past three months or so, I have had pain in my belly and an unusual schedule, it dawned on me today that I haven't had that pain for almost a week now and the only thing I am doing different is taking this daily!!! So I am VERY happy with the results, there are 120 Capsules in this bottle and you only take One everyday so there is a Four month supply!!! When you take that into consideration it is a great price for a happy belly!! Thank you!

It's so hard to find supplements without fillers and if you're taking a lot of supplements, you end up consuming a lot of magnesium stearate, silicon dioxide, etc, etc. This has nothing but active ingredients, no flowing agents, nothing extra. That makes the product a lot more potent and worth the money because each capsule isn't half full of inert junk. The capsules are large and smell strongly of boswellia so they can repeat on you a bit but at least they're potent. I didn't notice much "comfort" or difference in my bowel issues but based on the label, this has very powerful herbs for overall cellular health and anti-aging so I'm happy paying for that return.
