Yes, my daughter is 27 and often sleeps over. Best to buy a decent mattress though.

With this bed being a metal frame. Does it squeak/make noise?. And do pillows fall through the headboard with there being gaps?.

Mine doesn’t squeak. Depends on the height of your mattress as far as the pillows falling through. My mattress is a standard height and nothing can fall down. The bottom of the bed is the same height as the mattress. The bed is really good. Just need to make sure you you follow the assembly instructions. I have had good sleeps in it since I built it. It has 10 legs and that stops squeaking . Would recommend this bed for the price.

Will the mattress slip off the frame, or does it have a lip to prevent this, please?

Hi, it hasn't got a lip. But we never had issues with mattress slipping off. My daughter, who is 13 and very active. She didn't have any issues. She is very happy with her bed. I hope this help. Good luck for choosing the right bed for yourself
