It’s about the job
Tbh if you’ve done the job for a while you don’t need this book, I really didn’t get much from it and was just a lite read that’s all… great for newbies

Great read
This book isn’t bringing anything particularly new or groundbreaking but rather outlining what most practitioners already should know. What this book does is bring all the elements of best practice together and outline clear reasons why and how to plan and provide better practice in early years. Reading it you can see the author has been where others teachers have and made the same mistakes but learnt from them. A great read and I recommend to anyone who is struggling to implement best practice or works in an environment heavy academics

Amazing find
Wow what a find on Amazon. Good questions, which helps reflect your practice. A must have, if working in a preschool, nursery or EYFS class in schools. Very excited to read the next few chapters. Brilliant x x

Interesting Read
A very interesting read with some great advice on planning and setting up continuous provision. However, unlike other texts relating to a play based pedagogy, it's overly prescriptive and could come across as overwhelming for anyone new to early years. Other similar texts have been far more successful in promoting play based learning.
