Romance and Politics can go together.
Sienna Snow is a new author for me to read one of her books and I have to say she did not disappoint me with this awesome books. This book was full of romance, political intrigue and humor along with stardom.Samina is a outstanding lawyer with a client list of the celebrity kind, she has grown her practice to be one of the best there is. But she isn't happy with her personal life any longer remaining in the shadows. So she has filed for divorce from her husband who has remained a secret to his family due to his father's political career. Devin her husband, does not want the divorce, he has decided that she is worth fighting for and doesn't want to lose her. He sets out to show her that they are meant to be together, one of Samina's clients is also set out to get her married off because he doesn't know she is already married so what ensues is a really great read. Can Devin win her heart before someone else steps in and up to the plate for her>

Celebrity
This is the first of three books. They will revolve around a group of diverse friends and family. This one is about Sami and her husband Devin. When they married he kept her a secret. Taking other women to galas and such. She became a highly sought lawyer for the famous and political people. But after five years of being his secret she has had enough. She will do anything to to no longer be anyone's secret. Her father, a billionaire, had disowned her when she married. Her husband sees other women in public. She has had enough!. I have read the plots of the next two books. So I will be getting them to find out how it all ends. But this one has me hooked. There is enough angst and steam to have kept me reading.

I'm addicted to Sienna Snow's books. She manages subjects that lend themselves to vast intrigue, with characters of color and culture. You learn things from her books as well as enjoy a love story enmeshed with angst

I was really looking forward to reading this story because the overall theme resonated with me. And I really liked the story, but I wasn't able to really connect with the characters.Samina wanted to get away from her controlling father, but I felt like her marriage to Devin was just going from one gilded cage to another. The stong personality the author tried to portrait for her would never be with a husband that 1. doesn't acknowledge the relationship to the world, 2. takes other people on dates on major life events and 3. tries to hide her because of her ethnic background to help his conservative father with winning races and 4. 12 years? Seriously? She was in that metaly abusive relationship for 12 years when she is a kick ass lawyer who takes no prisoners?Samina was supposed to work on their relationship struggles with Devin, come out to the world and his family as a couple and not just forcus on the combustable physical side of their realtionship. But from the moment they meet, the author spent more time on their encounters than on the major issues that had lead to them "hinding" for the past 12 years. Also, her reason for running wasn't so solid in my mind.I honeslty didn't like Devin that much. I would have liked his POV to actually understand his mentality and the reasons of why he did what he did.The premise of the story was good, but I want more of a background on how they got into the relationship in the first place, Samina's struggle with this family, Dev's mentality coming from a conservative background etc to make this a phenomenal read.

Absolutely loved everything about this story
I'm crazy about this book. It was romantic, suspenseful, dramatic and unique. It had lots going on, but it was presented so well that it was easy to follow. Characters are easy to love and root for. And it didn't have too much political backstory to bog down the narrative. I'm now a big fan of this author. I grabbed it on a whim after seeing an ad and I'm happy I did!

Drives you mad while lighting you up
Celebrity is an unexpected joy to read. I didn't know what to think because this is the first I had heard of this author. I can tell you I am excited to see what else she has in store. The blurb caught my attention and now the author has it. I had fun reading Celebrity. It has a blend of naughty that will keep your libido peaked but it's also family in the best and worst sense. Friends that feel like siblings. People that bicker with love. And Mom smacking her grown adult kids upside the head for inappropriate comments had me giggling. It's messy and complicated. It had my hackles up and my inner feminist roaring. But Celebrity is the beginning of something more and I intend to be on the campaign trail if they let me.

Excellent
Just an incredible story! The way the Dev and Sami work through the issues in their relationship and how Dev owned up to his mistakes was so well written. Plenty of steam and great relationships with secondary characters.

Wow
I wasn’t sure what I was getting into when I grabbed this book up but the blurb intrigued me so I started reading. And it continued to intrigue and had me staying up late into the night to finish since I had to know how it ended. Loved it
