Trusting God: A Girlfriends in God Faith Adventure

This book is amazing! It takes everyday events that we all face and turns them into ways that God works. I recommend this book to every girl and woman but especially to the ones that are or have been through a dark time in their lives. It has solidified principles that I knew were true but got tested very much this past year. It also is encouraging that I'm not the only one that walks through dark times and that through it all we can trust God that He still loves us and is working His plan in our lives.

We started reading this as a small group to share each daily devotion with each other. Having 3 people detail life stories and how God has gotten them through it gives encouragement. It makes you think about your life and how the writer's struggles can be similar to yours. I like the comment on the book front that say "you don't have to understand God to trust Him." That is so true. Reading the book reinforces that we need to trust God for everything and allow His timing in our lives. It is quick each reading that is broken down into weeks and daily devotions.

I love the format of this book! It gives you daily devotionals every week, followed by end of the week reflection questions. Even thought the questions require some soul searching, they are so worth it! It really allowed me to search my heart and to understand why I do the things I do. The devotionals are great ways to see God in everyday life and to dig into what God wants to do for you. Sharon, Gwen and Mary deliver God's truth in a way that anyone can understand. It makes me want to dig deeper into the Bible and study more for myself. Trusting God has revealed how I need to depend on God more and give Him my life completely. This book will impact your life in a positive way! Buy one for yourself and give another to a friend!

I love the short stories/devotions as you are able to identify and relate to them; they also very encouraging. The prayers at the end of each devotion is a great addition and helps us to focus as sometimes our prayers are "all over the place". The "Now It's Your Turn" portion helps us to step back and reflect on what we've read and also helps us to be able to apply the principals. I love it!

It is really helping me in reading daily and shows how to trust. I like the little journaling review it gives after a coupld of chapters. It has helped me to Trust the lord so. Talking to my Bible class sometimes, they have and I have verses that we depend on, sometimes though I see that we all don't trust God for the answer by repeating our doubts about the same problem. God wants us to really Trust Him. He is always there.

This devotional written by 3 special ladies called to share the love of Christ with all their "Girlfriends" not only is filled with encouraging devotionals pertaining to Trusting God; included are scriptures to cling to, prayers to pray and questions to further examine the daily writings..either individually or in small groups. I have received Girlfriends In God devotionals for years and am so happy they have put together this book to reach out to more and more "girlfriends".If your goal is to trust God for the first time or to trust Him more completely..this book will encourage your heart!I highly recommend it. It's a book you will want to share with all the women in your life.

I absolutely love this book. I am not a reader and hardly ever pick up a book, but this one I cannot put down. I went through a very rough year and was looking for something to help me renew my faith. This book has made me realize that no matter what I am going through, God is there. It has taugh me to be more open minded and see God in things that happen throughout my day. I even bought one for my best friend because I want to share how good this book has made me feel and has turned my life around.

I really loved this book because the girls are so transparent about their own weaknesses. I really have trouble trusting anyone and I'm ashamed to say that includes God. I want so b badly to trust Him more and this book helped so much. Keep up the good work Girkfriends.

This book has been fantastic, full of truth, with challenging perspectives that encourages you to go deeper. During the time reading this book I have faced my own mountains and learned to put my trust and complete Faith in the Lord. Was encouraging to relate to Sharon, Gwen and Mary in their struggles and know that we are all loved by the Lord.

Very good read for those like religious material, this will take you closer to your creator and give you a different insight.
