While Badass Beard Care has some great smelling oils and balm, this brush smells like wet wild animal which just ruins the great smelling oils. I end up leaving the house smelling terrible despite the oil and balm because of how awful this brush smells.Edit: took about a month but now the brush has taken on the smell of the oils and balm used with it. If you have the same issue, I would recommend running a good amount of oil through the brush and let it sit. I did not notice it, but BABC tried reaching out to me several times to make it right so I would say their customer service is top notch and now that the brush smells great, I enjoy using it daily.

I haven't noticed any difference in my beard, but I guess the idea of using a full-bristled brush makes more sense than a thin-toothed comb... It's not a comfortable thing to have going on your face, but it's supposed to exfoliate, which isn't always pleasant. It does smell, but I imagine it will go away as it absorbs the oils from my beard waxes and whatnot.So nothing "bad", but it's not wonderful, so 3-stars.I read the instructions: Do NOT use water to clean... just a blow dryer to melt the product and wipe it out... Water will rot the brush.

I keep my hair pretty short and at first I was keeping my beard short as well. As I let my beard grow out (now about 1.5 - 2" long) it has become necessary to keep it brushed and this brush works great. Very high quality (just like the Badass wooden beard comb that I also bought). I keep the brush on my bathroom sink and carry the wooden comb with me for quick touch ups.

Got this as a Father’s Day gift for my significant other. He’s a huge fan of Badass Beard products. I was really excited to see this on amazon. He has tried many of the oils and balms. He even has their comb and wooden caddy. This brush was the last piece to his Badass Beard puzzle. He’s very happy with it.

I should have had one of these years ago! This works so well to brush out my 1" or so beard. I had been using a tiny mustache comb for years. This brush has stiff bristles that get down to my skin and feels great. It smooths out the hairs and distributes the balm well across the hairs. Good stuff.

This is the only item from Badass I have one note of "less than perfect." Some of the bristles initially fall out making you think it has weak craftsmanship. After using it daily for awhile, I have no complaint other than I was initially worried. Admittedly, it was a premature concern and I love the brush as it is.

Very nice high quality brush. I just recently started growing out my short beard and started using beard oil and balm. This brush is perfect for helping to distribute the oil. It's a great size and the natural bristles prevent any static. Highly recommend Badass Beard Care products.

Just received this product 2 days ago and the bristles are falling out already....what's up with that?Kinda pricey for this product. I would anticipate that the bristles would not be falling out like this. Not real fond of the black printed logo on the wood.. cheapens the look.
