BELLAir Glide Bicycle Floor Pumps

This was a very disappointing pump. I bought it because it had good reviews, but I should have checked other sites first. For some reason, this has great reviews on amazon, but if you compare to other sites, it has pretty poor ratings, and for good reason. Not sure how the Schrader valve works, but the presta valve hookup is awful. I couldn't get the lock to work properly, causing air to leak while pumping and when I finally got a good lock on it, air started leaking out of the pump itself? I couldn't get my psi above 20 and I dont even have high pressure tires. Extremely disappointed with this product.

This pump works okay. It really feels flimsy when pumping up the bike tires. It is a light weight pump. I’m worried that it will only last for a short time. Our last Bell brand bike pump broke. This one feels less durable than the one that broke. I guess this is an example of you get what you pay for. We purchase other Bell brand bike accessories and don’t usually have issues with them, so this purchase kind of surprised us. Oh well. Should you purchase this item, maybe you’ll feel differently than we do.

Had high expectations given that it's only a "pump" but this pump is pure junk.Purchased it mainly for my bicycle tires. It clamps onto the bike tire tightly, but when you push down on the handle to pump up the tires, you pump little if any air. The problem seems to be that there is either no seal or a bad seal at the top where the cylinder pushes down into the pump, so when pumping, there is little if any air pressure going into the tire. You instantly know this is happening because you can hear the air escaping at the top before it ever gets down into the tire. Took me more than 30 minutes to blow up ONE tire to about 75% of the pressure it needed as I had to quit because of both frustration and exhaustion. So unless you are looking for a good one hour workout (per tire), stay away from this pump.

OK, maybe I'm just not a manly enough man, but I find the clamp mechanism on this pump almost impossible to attach. It's just incredibly stiff, and requires a very large amount of torque to get past the point of most resistance.By positioning myself in just the right way to get the best possible grip, pressing with all my might and after several frustrating attempts to get just the right leverage required, I can squeeze the clamp down. Doesn't seem to 'wear in' or loosen up over time. The difficulty here takes any possible fun out of pumping up your bicycle tires.Another complaint is that the base stand is too small and the pump tends to fall over if you don't hold it in place with your feet. So a bit awkward to work with and tends to crash against the spokes or derailleur guards. It's not heavy so little damage is likely, just irritating especially after all the red-faced sweaty effort necessary to squeeze the clamp to closed position.Aside from these issues it's a decent pump. Fairly efficient to bring tires up to pressure without too many pumps. To pump up a 50-80 psi 700c that was totally deflated to 60 psi took maybe 20 pumps.

This is surprisingly hard to pump. I thought my wife was being a wuss...turns out getting up past 80psi is pretty difficult. Good luck going past 100.Well made, just tough to use.

I bought this because I just straight needed a pump ASAP. Imagine my surprise when it out-performed almost every other pump I've ever had or used in terms of accuracy and effectiveness. About the only black mark against it is that the lever is a little stiff, but for the price: unbeatable.

Just received the product tried it out on my Kenda Keyrads....it seem to get a little tougher to pump going past 60psi...it was first time using it so I expect it to be stiff specially when placing it on the valve and trying to lock it on. Hopefully with time it will become easier. I was definitely disappointed with the box itself it had been opened and when I went to check it out the gauge's screw plastic top was not on the product so I thought I didn't receive it. Went back to box and found it all wrapped up in the packing paper. Overall I'm staying optimistic as I've only used it once. But, on the up scale Im happy with the looks, feel of product and shipment.

This pump is absolutely not as described accurately. It is NOT a high pressure pump. This pump was listed as being able to provide up the 120 PSI. I needed 100 PSI for new tires I’d purchased. In repeated attempts I was unable to get it to go above 60-70 PSI. Trying to get the pump to operate above that just wasn’t possible. You could have jumped up and down on the handle, it was not capable of going higher or you’d blow a seal. Not even close to the Amazon listed capability. Very disappointing. Unfortunately, by the time I needed to use the pump the first time, I was past the 30 day return window. So, brand new it went in the Goodwill charity box. Overall the pump looked of average construction so unsure how long it would hold up if it did suit your needs. It may work great for many, but if you truly need a higher pressure pump, ignore the false claims of this one.

I only used three or four other pumps before so I don't have a deep knowledge about bike pumps... but this one is a little different from the others I used. I feel like with only one push on the pump, I get huge PSI increments which makes it difficult to reach a precise pressure. I bothers me a little. That's why I haven't given this product a better note. On the other hand - it does its job and the overall quality is pretty decent, for the price.

Antes de esta había comprado una bomba pequeña de mano, que no tiene manómetro y entendí que esas bombas portátiles son solo para emergencias como si te ponchas en la calle. Esta bomba de Bell es como la bomba que tienen los de la tienda donde compramos la bici, y aunque es mas pequeña que esa, cumple perfectamente con su objetivo. Super recomendada.

Me gustó que, con muy poco esfuerzo pude llenar 6 llantas de bici, facilito.Lo que sí es verdad es que parece ser que no es tan preciso el medidor, pero, creo que en realidad saber la medida exacta no ayudaría mucho, tal vez para darse solamente una idea de cómo va la presión de la llanta.Esta un poco duro el seguro, se batalla un poco para bajar el seguro, no sé si con el uso se afloje un poco

Only used the pump once. And it did the job. It is lighter than you might think but performs well and easy to throw into the back of a car. Really like that there are separate holes for Schrader and Presta values! This is a real bonus. Only grip is that the locking thumb lever is stiff to put in the down locking position. But I've found this to be the case with other pumps I've used in the past. My tip with pumps is to make sure everything (valve and pump head) are lined up.

Buen articulo para poder revisar adecuadamente la presión de tus llantas de bicicleta. A mi me parece preciso el medidor de presión y al tacto después de inflar me parecen muy buena presión.Con pocas bombeadas se llenan las llantas y sin forzar el pistón.Excelente compra.
