Comfortable, adjustable, attractive; aerated, so not for wet weather
The mesh fabric means these shoes are breathable comfortable but not for wearing in wet weather. They are well-made and attractive. My husband wears a 10 1/2 so we ordered an 11 and they fit very well, with or without thick socks. The velcro strap and loose inner flaps make it very adjustable. Husband has one foot more swollen than the other and this adaptable shoe meant one size will do for both. (It c9mes with spare, thin soft, flat inserts to tighten up shie if swell7ng goes down or is less on one side. We didn't need to use these; the adjustable closures were enough to compensate. If you have plantar fasciatus, as he does, you will need a stronger arch support which can be easily inserted. If you have heel pain, or top of foot tendonitis, that's likely what you need. Those pains went away within a day of adding his own, firmer inserts. The arch support in the shoe is too soft to help with that.Definitely recommend whether or not you have swollen, endemic feet.

Comfortable
I got these shoes due to type 2 diabetes at fist I did not like them very light and felt almost to light since was used to wearing work boots. But I started having issues with my feet. I ordered these not sure what to expect but have been wearing for 3 weeks now and really like them easy to get in and off the Velcro strap is nice and get on and off they feel very comfortable. They look like grandpa shoes and are very soft and durable I walk about 2-3 miles for work and have had no issues with them. Worth the price and glad I got them

Nice and classic look.
Very light and Hubs says they’re very comfortable will probably purchase another pair.

Perfect shoes for my sons AFO and SMO braces!!
Even the extra wide tennis shoes would be hard to force my sons braces into but these he slips right into, tightens the velcro strap, and were ready to go! No more struggling with shoving braces into shoes or loosening and tightening laces over and over. I was worried because the soles didn't look wide enough from the bottom view, but they truly are wide enough. Much better than the similarly priced extra wide tennis shoes that we had to spend so much time getting into because I had to loosen the laces all the way to get them on then tighten them. My son also wasn't able to do that himself, it was a real hassle and very time consuming. These shoes are a godsend and I'm purchasing another pair right away. Thank you!

Too Small/Don’t Fit
If you buy these based on your “normal” size, and your feet are the least bit swollen, these won’t fit. Isn’t that kinda/sorta the entire point of buying them in the first place?

Order one size wider if feet very swollen and shoes with laces a problem
When shoes with laces became too difficult to manage due to edema of both feet for an elderly relative, I ordered three different brands of shoes without laces and this pair was the best of the three that I bought for him to try. The usual shoe size he had worn for years was size 12 Wide (or 2E); I ordered one size wider and ordered a 4E and it fit perfectly. The staff at the assisted living facility have no difficulty in putting his shoes on him without having to use a shoe horn; the shoes have good arch support; the velcro is strong; he states the shoes are comfortable and they have good traction to help prevent falls for this 92 year old who is ambulatory with a walker. I highly recommend these reasonably priced, attractive shoes for people with pitting edema of their feet who have difficulty managing laces due to health or age. He has been wearing them for over six months and they still look brand new.

Functional
Good fit, seems expensive for what it is. Not comfortable for longer periods of time. Works well for swollen feet.
