Motorcycle Gear Indicator for Honda with Holder Bracket,Waterproof LED Display Digital Display Speedometer Shift Lever Sensors Plug & Play (Blue)

Install was pretty straight forward, although I did have to find a video on YouTube, the calibration process was a little confusing but ended up working out exactly as explained. Module was completely plug and play. It does take a couple seconds to display the gear after you shift, and won't read the change if you aren't moving. Can't beat it for the price.

On my Honda CBR. Works perfectly. Reasonable price. Super easy install. Genuinely plug and play. Highly recommend based on my experience.

This little gadget I would say is good for beginners who want to always be sure of what gear at the moment.This device does not read your shifts, it reads your bikes engine speed/power. This means that the # will not immediately switch when you upshift or downshift like with a built in gear indicator, instead there will be a slight delay and it will switch when you reach a steady speed for whichever gear range you are in. Effectively this means it won't teach you how to gearshift, it just gives you the assurance of what gear you are currently in, which newer riders I think are prone to forget.Its good for what it is and simple enough to setup.

The white connector that is provided, has red, black, marks where you plane the pins. The unmarked slot is for the white wire. Instructions do not tell you this, so I will. Also, remember to turn on your bike key and ignition to "on". This also works with 5 speed gearing. Just keep riding after you shift into 5 during the "drive and set up" portion of the setup. Eventually, the indicator will set to "O" then read 6 then back to 5.The indicator is just slightly delayed when shifting, but reasonable. When in neutral, there is just a dash, no "N". I think this unit could use a bit more development with when you are coasting with the clutch in. The indicator goes to the dash even though you are coasting in a number gear.The red plug in the 2024 Honda Shadow Phantom is under the left side pop-off panel, in under clear plastic protective cover. Just remember to pull the protective red cap off.Over, this is extremely visible and helpful!

Lacks detailed instructions.And Unable to even use it yet: it says it fits my 2017 Honda Rebel, but the mount big enough and/or the mounting screws aren’t long enough to install the mount onto my handle bars!What a disappointment!Please send me longer screws or a bigger mount for my motorcycle so I can properly install and update my review, otherwise rating will stay at 1.

It’s a little delayed with shifts and it goes crazy when you pull the clutch in.

Product works great. I like that they have the plug end off for you when you receive it. It makes the wiring a lot easier. They have a colored marker line on the plug end so you know where the wire goes in to connector. My only complaint is they should mention that in the instructions. It took a second to picture that out. Works great easy to program works as it should.

Heute bekommen und angebaut an einer Honda CMX500. Halterung und Display und Kabel gute Qualität. Stecker ist einfach zu Konfektionieren. Programmierung schnell auf dem Montageständer erledigt. Die mitgelieferte Abtönfolie zum Abdunkeln wird gar nicht in der Beschreibung erwähnt. Die Deutsche Übersetzung der Bedienungsanleitung ist eher zum Schmunzeln. Nachtrag, bin heute bei Sonnenschein und mit Sonnenbrille gefahren, die Anzeige ist dafür nicht hell genug.
