TABASCO® Brand Original Red Pepper Sauce, 2 Fl oz (Pack of 1)

5/5 This stuff blows the rooster out of the water. Heat is mild, a little less than Huy Fong. The flavor on this stuff is BY FAR the best of any sriracha I've tried. It has that typical sriracha funk with a STRONG chili flavor. I think there's a little tinge of that "tabasco flavor", if you know what I mean. It really adds to the overall product. I keep a bottle at my desk and put it on literally anything I need heat for. I have over two dozen hot sauces on hand but I'm not drawn to any of them to this degree. I've gone through over half of a bottle in the last 2 months. This IS currently the cheapest Sriracha I can find on amazon and cheaper than most in my local grocery store. Price is currently $4.31, a few cents cheaper than when I bought it. I feel like this is a very reasonable price for the size you get, 20 oz, 3oz more than the normal Huy Fong bottle and 6oz less than the bigger Hoy Fong bottle. That's currently less than half of the price of Huy Fong's brand, but it seems like there's a supply issue for Amazon on that.

Smoky, mild on the heat, great flavor, not too strong of a vinegar taste. Good in soups and chili, tacos/burritos, on meat, fish, vegan dishes too. Price is good as well. Deeeeelicious.

This chipotle hot sauce has a great smoky, smooth flavor and medium heat that’s easy to enjoy on lots of foods. It adds a tasty kick to chicken, burritos, grilled meats, and even eggs without overpowering the dish. The glass bottle is easy to pour and well-made. A flavorful go-to hot sauce that I’ll keep stocked in my kitchen.

This Scorpion Sauce is no joke. It is spicy, delicious, spicy, and then even spicier on top of that. It is nothing like the original Tabasco. The original tastes light and vinegary. This one is thick, rich, salty, and extremely hot. If the original Tabasco is a 3 out of 10 in heat, this is a solid 10. One small dab will get your tongue buzzing and your eyes watering. You will probably reach for milk, and then you will want another bite because the flavor is really good. I would use it more often if it didn’t blow my head off, but the taste is fantastic and the heat feels clean, not bitter. If you love hot sauce and enjoy real heat, this is a fun one to keep in the kitchen. Just start with tiny drops. It’s intense, but it’s delicious.

Great flavor! If you haven't tried this Tabasco flavor yet, do it. Personally, not a fan of the original Tabasco sauce, I branched out to try their other offerings. The Chipotle label Tabasco sauce has great depth of flavor, and delivers a mild heat. It pairs well with a variety of flavors. Large-ish size bottles are a great value and provide enough sauce for multiple uses. The original Tabasco sauce is quite thin, and basically just spicy vinegar while this label delivers more complexity and a much thicker sauce to drown your food in.

Nice flavor with a reasonable spice level. It does bring a little heat but not to the point of overshadawing a dish. The heat compliments the salsa picante flavor. Good texture and easy to dispense. You can use it on pretty much everything like pizza, eggs, tacos (obviously) and burgers.

Tabasco has always been my go to, general purpose sauce. The original isn't very spicy and chicken is just the sponge for me to eat Tabasco. I'm a fan of the vinegary flavor of Tabasco, but would like a little more heat. Tabasco Scorpion Sauce is surprisingly good. It seems a little thicker than regular Tabasco, but with more flavor and heat. I still use a ton of regular Tabasco, but occasionally I want more heat with less liquid -- and this is the solution.

I think black pepper might be the more useful hot spice for everything in general, but I accidentally got on a hot sauce journey when I bought a bottle to use in a flat creme brule dish I put underneath the outside cats food bowl, diluted with water, to repel the ants. It works fantastic for that, but I also tried the hot sauce, and I really liked it. So, I began trying more, and this Chipotle version is EXCELLENT. The flavor is right on, exactly as one would expect, the smokiness is not skimpy and the spiciness is very nice. A person can make great food, but sauces like this are required to really perfect the food, and I can't do without them. Sauces are intensely flavored (usually), and the spice of hot sauce amplifies the flavor of the food (salt and sugar do the same). I'm vegetarian and I imagine the Chipotle would be best on faux meats and things with cheese, and with chilies or beans and rice, but not really veggies that much for now. This chipotle sauce has so much great character, though, that I will find recipes to use it with, and voila, that expands my cooking repertoire with confidence right there and that's good, what I want, to have more great cooking options. This chipotle hot sauce is simply excellent and I highly, highly recommend it!!!
