Bandai Hobby Strike Freedom Gundam Seed Destiny Mobile Suit Model Kit (1/100 Scale)

Mg strike freedom is an amazing kit. This regular version does not come with chrome plated gold parts like the full burst mode, but the yellowish colour really isn't bad at all. I actually wish i didn't paint portions of the inner frame because I lost out on some of the model's excellent articulation due to stiff joints. I also ended up breaking the 2 hip joints and had to glue them together. Very sad, since this model had no out of the box flaws, except my gold-plated hang up. If you are thinking of getting this kit, do it and you won't regret it. It's a fun build, has great articulation, comes with a stand, nice accessories and looks very impressive when finished. Just don't paint the frame gold. Leave it as it comes and save yourself the hassle and letdown that I went through with this otherwise awesome gunpla. I'm never painting a model again. I'll leave that for the pros who know of all the things that can go wrong. For my next kit, I'll be content simply building out of the box. Gundam models are great just the way they come from bandai. Too bad I had to learn that with mg strike freedom, one of my favourite mobile suits.

Constructing the model is always the main takeaway from purchasing a kit. The ease of piecing it together is perfect for beginners and experts alike (buy a pair of nippers or if you live life on the edge use toenail clippers). The appearance and quality of the model is amazing for its price, and the small attention to details is what really brings it together. Overall a solid kit.

I’ve wanted to build a gundam for a long time and I’m glad i finally started one. I’m excited to go back and actually paint some details into this one. Wished i would have done that from the beginning. I also picked up a barbatos. That one will be detailed from the beginning. Definitely takes some patience. Make sure you don’t get too far ahead of yourself either. Very easy to mix pieces up if you cut out for too many steps at once.

Took about 5 hours spread out across a few days to build it, kit is simple and finished product looks great, this was my first gunpla build so take it from a novice , i did not seam seal or highlight or even put the decals on yet unsure if i am going to as I'm satisfied with it as is. The mass of the wings however limits movement, good thing it comes with an included base( not pictured )

I normally go for the HIgh Grade Gundams. I didn't realize it first when I bought this it was a Master Grade but I'm so glad I purchased it. I had a lot of fun putting this together the instructions are very clear.

I would like to point out that this is actually my first Gundam Model that I have ever purchased. To put it all aside, no, I did not possess any of the tools or markers that most people would have already had or purchased at the same time. It was not until after i already built the model that I bought a tool kit. -------------- Aside from my lack of having the right stuff, I was able to put it together in about 12 hours with what I had to but the parts off the tree. I mainly used my experience i had when I built the Lego Bionicle sets along with creating MoC's from those sets so i simply applied the same logic to it, which helped since the directions were similar to what I am used to and it was slightly difficult to put on the smaller pieces with my bare hands.(stickers were a pain in the ass lol) It was not hard for me to put it together, but since I had started with a Master Grade Gundam Model, which apparently a beginner like me would have a hard time with, I guess I would say i did a good job putting it together. Now let me get into some issues i had with it. 1. While the model was indeed a MG as indicated on the box, after i built it, neither of the guns would attach to the right hand, dunno why. 2. Some of the parts would simply fall off, dunno if it's due to bad parts or I wasn't doing it right.(skirt plates, the Rail Cannons would pop off etc) --- Since this is my first Model, I learned some things that I need to improve on and decide if i am going to buy more in the future. I will most likely buy more, but with this i have a better idea with what i need to do to make the next one better. - Other things would be that it came about a week before it was supposed to so i guess the shipping was faster than amazon thought. In all I am happy with my product and I think i might try to buy another model and make into a custom version. So, with all that i'll give a Honest 7.8/10

Wonderful and time consuming but in the fun way lol definitely not for beginners unless you enjoy a challenge! The final product looks great and if your a fan of Gundam, this my friend is for you. Be safe

Pour une 1ére maquette à réaliser, elle est idéale . Pas trop compliqué, bien expliqué, beaucoup de détails et le rendu est superbe ! Rapport qualité / prix impeccable !

Llegó todo completo, todos los paneles y sus etiquetas. Aunque si es un poco dificl de armar, porque hay que tener cuidado porque tiene piezas muy pequeñas. Pero quedó muy bien finalmente armado.
