Shockcord is good, locker not so.
The shockcord is as advertized, 3mm and of good quality. The shockcord fit through all locker holes. Unfortunately, the double holes locker is too small to lock onto cord and cord keep sliding through. The single hole locker have to be pull to lock, may or may not be voluntary. But once tab is pulled out, the cord does not slide through (good).

It works
My father received a jacket from his grandson for Christmas that had his new business name on it. It fitted him on the top but needed to be cinched in the waste. And he wanted to proudly wear and promote his grandsons business (85+ years and counting). This elastic cord was the answer. I slit both ends by zipper and added cord. Now fits. The only problem I had was joining ends of cord. YouTube said to light a match and melt them together, but that didn’t work. I ended up sewing cord together.

Good elasticity, tough, good quality.
Did changed a few cord on a couples of northface coat I had for years, this is perfect. Only thing is that the double clips are too small. Cord is so big the clip wont even lock the cord when relaxed. Other than that, its perfect and very good quality with a good stretch to it. I Recommend this product.

This cording is very stiff and does not stretch easily.
There appears to be a solid core to this cording. My sewing machine will not even sew through it and it melts hard when you sear the ends to stop fraying.I bought it to use with face masks but it is not working out like I had hoped.I bought some white cording from a different source at or near the same time and it stretches easier and does not seem to be hard inside much more comfortable.

3mm elastic cord is too thick!
I used the two hole piece and some of the elastic cord yesterday for a project and I had a pretty hard time inserting the cord into the piece, even after burning the tips. I read in previous comments to go with the 3mm cord instead of the 4mm for this reason but I had the same problem, so even less than 3mm would probably be better, because even once its in, the elastic doesn’t slide through the piece easily so I’m afraid the elastic will rip every time I have to tighten my garment. Aesthetically it looks great, but the functionality is not the best. They should only give the option for the cord that fits best into the plastic pieces because it’s hard for customers to know.
