Our family made the switch to fluoride-free toothpaste over 5 years ago after I began researching the long-term effects of fluoride. I had concerns, especially about daily exposure for children, and wanted a safer, more natural alternative. I looked high and low for a Hydroxyapatite toothpaste that did NOT contain glycerin, this is one of the very few (if not the only one) that is glycerin free, if you are wondering why, glycerin coats your teeth and can prevent re-mineralization which would defeat the purpose of this particular toothpaste.I am on my second tube, I wanted to use it for a while to make sure it worked, and it does. The toothpaste is a bit on the thinner side (compared to other toothpastes), which is fine, it does not affect it at all, it works fine, just be aware that when you squeeze some out, it will come out faster than you expect and might even run down the side of the toothbrush, I am frugal with it, I don't squeeze out a bunch of it so it's not a problem. I also "shake" the tube a bit before I open it, since it's thinner, I want to make sure all the ingredients are equally mixed in the tube before I squeeze it out, I don't know for a fact that it does or does not separate, it's just something I do for my own peace of mind.I brush my teeth with this toothpaste and spit it out but I don't rinse, I allow the residual toothpaste to remain in my mouth and on my teeth to get the most benefit from it.I noticed that within a few days, my teeth were less sensitive, I don't have a major problem with sensitivity but I did notice the difference. I feel like this gets my teeth and mouth very clean.I like the ingredients, the flavor is not like other toothpaste, it has more natural ingredients so it doesn't have that blasting, knock your head off mint flavor like so many other toothpastes have, this is more subtle, pleasant.I also noticed that my bottom teeth seem tighter, if I use a different toothpaste for a few days, I feel like my bottom front teeth move a little, not major movement, but it's there. When I use this toothpaste regularly, daily, it makes my teeth feel more tight.Bottom line, I will continue using this.

I love the taste of this product, and I love that it may be helping me reverse a cavity. I don’t love the grittiness. It’s almost like it has pepper in it because it makes my tongue burn and swell like pepper does. I’m not sure why or what’s in it that would make that happen, but it does. I don’t feel like this is the greatest value for the price. It cost the same as my toothpaste choose that I order from another company. And I would much rather have the toothpaste choose. They don’t make my tongue burn and swell. I may order this again, because it seems to be very effective, but it’s not something I want to use all the time.

Update. Jan 2025Was contacted by seller and offered a different flavor. I was sent Peppermint WOW. We'll, the flavor name says it all! WOW. The offtaste in Wintogreen isn't present in the peppermint. Toothpaste works as stated, and leaves your mouth and breath minty clean!Tried this toothpaste, after using 2 tubes of Davids non flouride toothpaste. While not bad, the taste is a bit off, and this doesn't seem to keep your teeth as white as David's. Maybe the off taste is the wintergreen vs the peppermint.The reason I tried it was price. Davids is much more expensive.

The toothpaste is OK, but the toothpaste tube is terrible. I won’t order again. It is hard to control how much comes out. At the price of this toothpaste every drop needs to be usable. The tube is very stiff. Once it hits about half full you have to take the lid off and scrape the toothpaste down to the bottom then push on it before it escapes back up the tube. The plastic tools that can slide over the end of the toothpaste tube do not fit this brand. The flat endocrinology the tube is too thick to work.

Great natural toothpaste! Cleans well, smells great, no sensitivity and made with ingredients that are good for your teeth. Leaves mouth feeling fresh and clean.

Favorite new toothpaste, tastes and feels great. I think I've noticed an improvement in enamel quality.
