Not the right smell
This is the first amazon review I make for any product at all. I am greek and I am sooooo used to frankincense smell from church. I bought from this seller due to all the perfect reveiws. Unfortunately the scent of frankincense was ... faint. As if the product were exposed to open air for years and at some point it was packed and sold. The myrrh...how should I put this without offending anyone? it smelled more like animal waste gone dry than myrrh. This is the closest to a metaphor I can find. I don't know if this was a defective bunch, as I see other people loved it. But I will not be buying from this seller again. Two stars for the quick delivery.

Exactly as described by the seller.
The media could not be loaded. The smell and amount were fine, thank you. I only gave it four stars because in all things there is always room for improvement. May Jesus bless you.

Gorgeous!
Gorgeous! Ignore everybody who's complaining. I don't know what unrealistic expectations they had, but for all those who actually work with resin incense and know what they're looking for, these resins are 100% the real deal, they smell amazing, and come in huge chunks (they're supposed to come like that). If you burn resins regularly, and you have the smallest amount of common sense, you should already own a mortar and pestle. Also, you'll already know that resins do produce a lot more smoke than stick or cone incense. If those two facts don't jive with you, you shouldn't be burning resins. And yes, the myrrh inevitably has some bark in it because it comes from making incisions in tree bark. I've never come across bark-free myrrh. But guess what, it IS THE REAL DEAL and it smells amazing! You're not going to find anything better than this ANYWHERE unless you're willing to spend 30 dollars per ounce. I'd venture a guess as to say that the bad reviews are either from jealous subpar competitors ,or just people who had no idea what they were ordering. I ignored the bad reviews and I'm glad I did! Also, nice touch separating the frankincense and myrrh in the bag so I don't have to pick through it to separate it out!

Will buy again
I'm extremely happy with this product.I'm not a connoisseur and i burn every morning as part of of prayer and meditation. Plus it obliterates cigarette smoke. Great buy for my purposes. Will buy again, and will try the copal. My only knock are the huge pieces of myrrh. I don't think a pestle would break them down efficiently. I took a monkey wrench to some of the myrrh but the oil inside only make the big pieces compress. With that being said burning either or together provides a very sweet strong smell. The concurrent prodigious amount of smoke is par for the course, and to be expected. The wood chips in the myrrh actually make it burn slower.I'd like to add that if a person is adverse to loud smells and/or smoke, ANY resin incense may not be for you. Sticks and burning oil will probably be more suitable. I have not found an frankincense or myrrh stick that, while smelling pleasant, do not compare to the real resin. Case in point: my wife really likes the HEM frankincense and their myrrh sticks, but somehow burning pure incense is too unpleasant.Lastly the best way I've found to light the charcoal is with tongs over the stove fire. Then I take a wad of aluminum foil, shape it to the bowl, and then place the lighted charcoal on that foil. Then wait until the coal is white before placing resin on the coal, or at least until the outer ring is white.

Pea Size Frankincense - Rock Size Myrrh
Pea Size Frankincense - Rock Size Myrrh. The Frankincense is the perfect size, but the Myrrh is about the size of small to medium sized rocks and sort of defeats the purpose of having ordered the pea sized Frankincense. Also, the Myrrh doesn't smell very good - maybe just because of the overwhelming size.

I use a tea candle and put the incense at cca 1.5 inch over using a small stand.
Good for the price. After I did it right I've got satisfactory results. Thanks

Won’t buy this again
The myrrh is a big chunk as big as the palm of my hand. When I opened the bag there were thick long white hairs in it.The frankincense was good.
