I have tried several language translators and none work out of the box except this one! Others require setup of their internal eSIM requiring a global purchase plan. I did that it shows approved but it never gets activated! Customer support non-exsistant! I tried installing my local carrier nano-SIM shows it found but will NOT access the internet for functions to work! This M3 works right out of the box! No setup or network access fees! I even tried it on my home wifi and it works! I wanted and received a unit that works away from my home wifi and this M3 meets my expectations! Even the Photo Translator works!

Everything worked as it should for that model. It did translate languages. Three of us tested it for the day and although it did work, we decided to move up to the newer V4 model at about double the price and we think that will be the better choice. The new one appears to be much more capable.Update: We just received the newer Vasco V4 and it is EVERYTHING we need. It is bigger, the volume is better and easy to hear, and best of all it is much faster. Clearly a much improved CPU chip. Very pleased now.

Very disappointed in the translator! When you speak into the device after approximately one month it stopped out loud translation; the device will write the translation but only a few words— not very helpful. If you connect to personal WiFi it will work but the so called built in WiFi/SIM is not worth the words in the advertisement for this device. This was a $300 dollar waste of money. I have two other much cheaper translators that work better and as advertised you have to use your own WiFi. I prefer to be informed and given the truth about purchases and not sold a dream 😖👎🏻.

This translator is not any easier to use than Google translate

It has good battery life. I takes a little practice talking into it. It may miss a word on occasion. Best when in a more quiet and peaceful environment.

I like how it is easy to use, and that you can take photos of things to be translated. The font doesn't get bigger so people who can't see small letters can't read the translations.Definitely not worth $300 that's for certain

This translator does not require internet or cellular signal to convert the translation whereas when using your phone, it does. I have come across instances when the phone doesn't work but this has saved me from a lot of pain and agony trying to decipher the conversation or sign. Good handy little tool to have as a sidekick when traveling abroad.

I bought this for my dad who wanted a translator but thought a phone app would be too complicated. Not true. He was not able to figure out how to use the Vasco. Perhaps best for younger folks. We ended up getting him a translator app for his phone and he prefers that.

Ich bin begeistert. Auch meine ägyptischen Freunde waren begeistert In geschlossenen Räumen ist WLAN von Vorteil. Aber, daß liegt bestimmt am Mobilfunk Netz. Gelegentlich mal die Chronik löschen, dann lauft es sehr gut. Akku war mir auch ausreichend. Praktische Größe, einfache Bedienung. Er ist nicht gerade günstig, aber dafür lebenslanges Nutzung ohne Folgekosten.

sono molto contento dell'acquisto per il mio viaggio a Tokyo, ho provato le varie funzionalità in conversazione, in chiamata e imparare una lingua, ma soprattutto si puo usare dappertutto perché l'apparecchio ha internet gratis in tutto il mondo e quindi può essere usato dappertutto.io l'ho provato in foto e traduce tuttti i documenti in maniera soddifaciente.... solo lo scermo lo farei più grande...

El traductor VASCO M3 es una pasada. Aún así he visto que algunos han hecho reviews negativas muy injustas.Primero. Para una buena traducción, por ejemplo de ESPAÑOL a INGLÉS, tienes que hablar con propiedad y vocalizando correctamente y sin titubeos.Si eres una persona que divagas, haces pausas o construyes mal las frases no te recomiendo este traductor, ni ningún otro.Segundo. Los idiomas silábicos con una fonética limpia y clara como nuestro Español, Catalán, etc o cualquier otra lengua extranjera como el Italiano van de escándalo.Ahora bien, con idiomas como el inglés sin una referencia fonética escrita, donde cada uno pronuncia las palabras según su lugar de origen mal vamos. Esto lo digo con conocimiento de causa porque mi pareja es Inglesa, así que o hablas como los presentadores de la BBC o tendrás dificultades para que el VASCO M3 lo pille todo correctamente.Tercero. Es una herramienta muy eficiente para conversaciones cortas y te sorprenderás, pero si eres muy tiquismiquis espérate de 10 a 20 años donde la inteligencia artificial ya estará más lograda.Insisto, para la tecnología que tenemos ahora está muy bien, pero pretendas que sea la computadora HAL 9000 de la película 2001 de Kubrick.
