While the taste is very strong and kind of unpleasant, but the benefits ruled in my favor by lowering the amount of insulin I need from 60cc to 45cc. It took 3 months, but as they say, slow and steady progress is best. I, also, supplement with chromium, to help with lower blood sugars. I really hope in a year my A1c will be much lower than it is, now.

On one hand, this product seems to work FAST. Sometimes within minutes of taking this, I can look around my kitchen and just not.want.to.eat sugary crap. It's so nice. At first.When the effect wears off, it wears off with a vengeance in me. At first, if I'd take a capsule at night, I would actively hunt down fountain soda the next morning. Regular ol' soda wasn't even good enough, I "needed" high-quality restaurant fountain soda. lol. I stopped taking these when I realized I became a "sugar monster" the next day.Took one tonight after about a 2-week break, worked great for about an hour, and then I scarfed down 2 servings of chocolate before I realized what I was doing. So. Probably not for me.I've not done what others have, which is take another capsule when you realize the first one is wearing off. I'm afraid of what the rebound will be like after successive doses. It's hard enough after one capsule. Not to mention, the ad says 1 per day.----Sometimes the capsule tasted awfully bitter and sometimes it does not. This makes me wonder if it has a consistent amount of whatever in each.----I've never experienced what others have about not being able to taste the sugary component of food. I experimented in the beginning - take a pill, give it time to kick in, then eat something sugary. It tasted mostly the same to me, maybe only 5 - 15% less desirable. So if I forced myself to eat something sweet on this capsule, it was still nice to eat. But like I said above, I simply did not find it enticing to consume sugary crap after taking one of these, for anywhere from 1 to 3 hours afterwards.----A few others mentioned low blood sugar-like effects. I experienced that the first few times, probably never after the 3rd time. I did not experience intestinal cramping or similar.----Overall, might be worth it to get a smaller version to see how it works for you. Maybe run it by your doc first if you're prone to low blood pressure or stomach stuff. ?? Glad it seemed to work miracles for others, but after writing this review, I wish I had bought the $10 bottle instead of the 6-month supply first.

I have been taking Gymnema Sylvestre since March 24, 2022 and this week my BP medicine had to be lowered by half the amount I normally take. The tingling in my feet is now gone. I am now just waiting to see what else happens. I have recommended it to two friends and we will all be taking notes!

It is working but to evaluate properly needed more time to experiment
