I have been sending good coffee now to the hospital nursing staff of the floor that treated me earlier this year at the local Veterans Hospital that saved my life from my adventures with the Covid 19 Virus, and also some protective gear (since a lot of theirs enroute to them was mysteriously re-diverted to Washington DC's stockpile for the President and his staff and friends) . I am a disabled veteran and not wealthy but I am grateful for what these tireless and underpaid and under-staffed nursing staff and physicians did for me , so - since late March 2020 when i was released home for a long, long, long recovery 9and since not fully recovered) - I ve been sending the very best coffees I can to that staff as they only can get decaf coffee on their floor (as patients can only have decaf so it doesn't interfere with their medications and then only weak coffee). In addition I have sent boxes of gloves, gowns, masks, booties for isolation wards, hairnets (disposable for same), and i urge anyone reading this to do the same if you afford it to help your local hospitals fight this terrible virus. Good rich Coffee is the best medicine for the Nursing Staff...and Folgers is the richest tasting low acid dark roast I could find. Thanls seller for keeping it affordable.

I've always drunk coffee in great quantities with and without medical advice. Many years ago I only drink coffee with cream and sugar until my own blood sugar and bad breath made me rethink things. Fast forward 45 years of continuous experimentation with various coffees. I've enjoyed almost all of them including varieties from Ethiopia, Vietnam, and France. Italian roasts are often my favorites, because as one barista from a local shop said to me, "It's all in the roasting." The Folgers Black Silk Dark Coffee is the best grocery store coffee I've ever purchased and I've been buying it for many years now. It's really clean and nutty like an Italian roast. I know a lot of other people whom I've since discovered enjoy it as well, so I can always depend upon fresh product from Amazon. If you're a true coffee lover, and you trust a roaster to create a coffee you're confident to drink black, you should give this a try. One friend uses the pods of *BSD* in her Keurig and it's good that way too.

My husband makes cold brew coffee and likes Folgers Black Silk the best. We get the 3 pack via Subscribe and Save. SOOO much cheaper than in the stores or buying one can at a time. Hubby takes his coffee black. I don't drink coffee so have to go by what he says. He claims this coffee is rich without any acidic aftertaste. I do know that anyone who comes to the house asks bill for his cold brew coffee. He makes it once a week and stores the essence in glass wine bottles. He just pours a little essence in a cup and adds boiling hot water whenever he wants a cup of coffee.
