Enjoyed the chase of Dr Zach with Morgan, the tough Seal!Morgan found a man who saw her, but she had to see him and trust him as well. Resisting the walls she built around herself. Zach was open to the challenge and adventure to pursue Morgan.Great story set around Madagascar and the great ocean and depth they travel to find hidden treasure.THS is an adventure worth reading.

A great author, I always enjoy her books and this one is no exception. A good plot, she has just the right balance of romance and adventure.

When Morgan Kincaid first meets Zach James at a museum function, she is not impressed. There to test the security system as a forerunner to another assignment, they remove the star exhibit.Satisfied that they can do the job, Zach informs the team what they will be doing, providing the security for the search for a historical missing ship, lost on it's way to France at the time of Louis XIV. Pursued by the group Silk Road, danger follows, including kidnapping, several attempts to use force, all to find a powerful mystical amulet, before a mysterious group of people say that they can protect it better where no one else can find it. Another gripping story which has to be concluded in one go.

I love this series. This book had so much suspense drama and love. Can’t wait to read the next book.

This is the fourth book in Anna Hackett's series about a group of ex-SEALs who provide security for treasure related expeditions in far flung places. The story focuses on our heroine, Morgan, who we have met in previous books and now gets her own hero - Dr. Zachariah James. He is an archaeologist with a treasure ship to search for, yet finds himself distracted and intrigued by the tough warrior. Making his mission to win her affection slightly harder, is the appearance of Silk Road mercenaries, who have an interest in the cargo of the sunken vessel. A kidnapping forces Zach and Morgan to face their feelings, whilst trying to keep a mysterious artifact out of the wrong hands.This was a nice read with a good cast of characters. However, I felt that the plot seemed full of amazing coincidences, which began to annoy me slightly. I wouldn't recommend this as a read-alone adventure story, but the romance is quite satisfying and worth reading as part of the larger series.

Time to strap on your diving gear and head to Madagascar, because Treasure Hunter Security is back and it’s female team member Morgan’s turn to battle the perils of love and danger. The strong, determined woman is about to meet her match in sexy marine archaeologist, Dr Zach James, as they go looking for sunken treasure in the Indian Ocean.That’s the one thing I really like about this series – the locations. I love that each book heads somewhere different, and even the more familiar places are tackled in new and refreshing ways. The archeology here is interesting, and even digs a little deeper into the local history, but I particularly enjoyed when the action went inland on the island for a bit, exploring this wild and most unusual habitat.The one thing I don’t like so much about this series is it’s repetitiveness. If you’ve read any or all of the previous books you will pretty much know the plot already, because this series has found a formula and it’s tenaciously sticking to it. The gender flip of having our heroine be the protective muscle isn’t as big a change as I might have liked either, since Zach is pretty alpha and just as protective as Morgan.Which is kind of a shame because if this was the first book in the series I’d read, it would probably end up my favourite. However, because it all turned out exactly as expected (and how the other three went) it wasn’t as fun as I’d hoped. Nor as sexy. Mostly because I knew exactly when they’d be getting it on and since it’s at a really stupid moment I couldn’t have cared less.So overall this is an enjoyable enough read, as long as you don’t mind plot formulas. The setting is fabulous, the characters are likeable enough and the action is pretty good, I would just prefer a surprise or two in how things turn out. The next book looks like it might be heading in a slightly different direction, so I’ll probably try it, but to be honest the only story I’m really interested in is Darcy and her sneaky FBI guy.(ARC provided by the author.)

This was a fast paced book is of a lost treasure ship off Madagascar and emerald necklace and giant lemurs. Oh and of course our favorite villains of Silk Road are there only they may have a problem with the lemurs who guard the temple.Morgan finds her HEA with Dr. James who knows that a ship carrying the treasure of the King of Siam was lost but can they find it's treasure before Silk Road does? They may be a cameo of the author's other series of Team 52 near the ending because maybe the necklace may have special abilities?Each book is researched so well that it's easy to get lost in the story. I can't wait to read the next one.

Continues bickering by these two was fun to read. Great story line, intriguing and catchy. Nice and easy read with a lot of heat, and fun

Die Geschichte rund um Zach und Morgan hat einfach alles – Liebe, Action, Spannung, ein grandioses Setting und vor allem sympathische Charaktere.Man muss die taffe Morgan, die hinter ihrer harten Schale einen weichen Kern verbirgt, und den charmanten, abenteuerlustigen Zach einfach lieben.Das Setting und die historischen Hintergründe sind (wie auch schon in den vorherigen Bänden) grandios ausgearbeitet und sehr detailliert beschrieben worden. Das gefiel mir extrem gut.Durch die Bösewichte namens Silk Road gab es wieder reichlich Spannung, Action und Drama. Man weiß nie, was als nächstes passiert, wer denn nun im eigenen Team ein Verräter ist und auf welches Artefakt Silk Road es dieses Mal abgesehen hat. Grandios!Wie auch schon in Band 1 hatte ich bei diesem Buch hier teilweise Tränen in den Augen und habe mit den Charakteren gelacht, gelitten, geliebt.Ich kann diese Buchreihe für alle empfehlen, die Abenteuer und Liebe in einer Story vereint lesen wollen.

Just fine to read, has your imagination running about the lost cities and amulets. Fun, romancy and just has you reading and enjoying.

I loved the opening of this book! How to pull off a jewel heist in the middle of a party with security looking on! Sounds unlikely but this is exactly what THS does at the request of Dr Zachariah James.Zach then hires them as security on an archaeological expedition to Madagascar to find a long lost shipwreck. Once again they run you of the black market antiquities thieves, Silk Road. This becomes a far more complex mission than anyone had expected. The Silk Road teams, as usual, are well prepared and not frightened to use lethal force.Morgan and Zach find themselves in a grim situation that they may not survive.Great romance and adventure with a twist.
