The Curiosity Box - Human Body
My five year old daughter has enjoyed looking through this book with me. I think that it is well written, informative and also appropriate for young people and learning. The contents include:> The Human Body> Skin> Freckles and skin colour> Damaged skin> Nails and Hair> Nits, spots and sweat> Senses> Teeth and bones> Skeleton and muscles> Inside the body> Human body curiosity box> Curious quizThe book gives the reader lots of factual information with pictures. Some of these pictures are drawn and others are photographs. Information is given in colourful boxes. There isn't vast amounts to take in in each box - I think it is just right for learning and for the child to ask questions. The book also contains relevant and fun questions around what is being learned.I think this is good!Would recommend.

This is great for learning how to read, and also for discovering the body (in a wholesome way)
Very child friendly, informative book. There are lots of illustrations and photos.I love the phonetic spelling of tricky words like canines (”cay-nines”), molars ("moh-lars”) and incisors (“in-sy-zores").As an adult, I found this a genuine pleasure to read! I wish I'd had something this accessible as a child. It makes learning enjoyable. The font used looks like a child's handwriting.[A thought: this book would also be useful for people learning English as a foreign language.]
