Fast, Safe, Efficient, Professional Strength
The media could not be loaded. I am not disappointed in this electric stapler at all. I have found it to be extremely and efficient, powerful, useful, and more. I am able to staple at least 20 sheets of regular letter-sized paper that I use in my inkjet printer, as shown. This is quite a bit larger than I had expected, yet I am thinking that there are a whole lot of people out there who would know what to expect. The scale compared with the size of the stapler should be apparent in the video I do hope. I am also thinking that I will be storing this stapler in my utility drawer in a clear jumbo-sized zip-lock freezer bag, rather than in my desk cubby where my manual stapler resides. My reasoning for this is that there is a loose part sitting atop (a nice staple remover), which meant to be easy to access. Yet, I do not want to have a loose part floating around somewhere. This silver staple remover is located at the rear of the silver cartridge release which opens the "drawer" for your row of "working" staples in the center, as well as your two rows of many "extra" staples on either side, to ready you for reams of use.Aside from the fact that the release button does allow you to pull open the magazine tray, you might find that you need to pull with a bit of a struggle. I am wondering if there is a safety reason for this. I am not the only user who has noticed this.If I had read the box in the first place, rather than relying on instructions, It would have been more apparent to me that the amber light displayed when the unit is plugged in is meant as an indication that the stapler is not ready to use yet. And that is very smart because the stapler will not be ready initially to use until you place your "working" staples into the center row, then making it easy for you to be ready for anything thin enough to make it into the slot where the stapler will lock down a staple. There is a feature which allows for you to steer clear of staple jams. I have not had any problems yet with potential problems. Also, there is quite a bit of suction at the bottom of this unit which is a very nice stability feature. If you do not wish to ruin the finish on your desk, you might want to plug this in somewhere else. Why not? I have wood flooring in my kitchen where my utility drawer is.This unit works very fast, and I recommend readying yourself for that "clamping down" sound. Another idea of mine is to remove the center row of "working" staples from the center row of the pull-out mechanism before your next staple job. This way the amber light will be on, and the stapler safely not ready to staple when plugged in.All and all I believe this is a great, attractive, professional 20-sheet electric stapler. The cord is fairly long, and it will also work on your countertop as shown.

Great product so far, please make sure to use premium staples
In my day job, I do a lot of stapling, can easily power through a full strip or more on a daily basis - so I need a hassle free electric stapler - so far this is doing the job (over the years I have had more than one die off on me, I highly recommend getting the premium staples. This pretty much ready to go out of the box, and did come with four strips of staples, in the very handy spots on either side of where the staples are loaded for use. Note: this stapler does hold a full strip of staples, unlike other smaller models in the same price range as this is. It is about 7" long and 4" high at the front, and compact enough for my smaller workplace without getting in the way. At the top there is a removable staple puller, which I wasn't aware of and thought I'd broken something. Another plus is the light at the front to let me know the last staple has been used, another plus because others I have owned have had either no warning light, or the light at the back where it's hard to notice.I am undecided on the suction cups to keep it in place, they're almost a bit too much suction going on and it's a bit of a pull to get it loose if I have to move it. The only other thing I can think to mention is that when you push the button to open the stapler carriage, there is a bit of a pull needed to get it open, it doesn't pop out on its own like other models I've used. All in all, I am very happy, I've put it through a good test in the last week or so and not a single jam up yet, and it is fairly quiet compared to others I've used.

It jams!
It worked great for 6 months, then it started to jam. I got the jams cleared, now it consumes two staples instead of one. I'm pretty bummed, but at least it still works.

Good for the money
Works good and staples well. I don't use it constantly but I do have a lot to staple when I do use it. (25 - 50 sets of 2-10 pages)and it works. Once in a while it has a miss fire, but for the most part I would recommend. I love that it has sucktion cups on the bottom that hold it in place.

AVOID!!!!!!!!!!
Broke after 2 years of very light use. They claim a 7 year warranty. Here is what they said:The warranty states a 7 year limited warranty which covers only damage resulting from defects in material or workmanship. It does not cover conditions or malfunctions resulting from normal wear, neglect, abuse, accident or repairs attempts made by others. Driver blades, sharpener cutter blades, punch heads cutting discs etc are considered normally wearing parts. If a product has been in service for a period of time and you are now starting to notice a decline in performance it is normally a normal wear and tear issue and not covered by warranty.Really! OK; there was not a lack of performance, it stopped working!!!!!!!Very misleading warranty. I bought a unit by Rapid and we'll see how things go.DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS PRODUCT!I WILL NEVER BY ANOTHER PRODUCT MANUFACTURED BY STANLEY BOSTITCH AGAIN!

Stanley Bostitch Electric Stapler (20SUITE-BLK)
I've had this stapler for 18 months and am mostly pleased with it. It seems well built and is heavy enough that it won't jump around on the desk. The on-board staple storage is very handy and saves time when I run out of staples in the middle of a job. I don't have stop what I'm doing and run to the supply locker for a refill. I'd give it 5 stars if it worked every time but about 1 out of 10 times it won't fire and I have to reinsert the paper 3 or 4 times to get it to work. That's a minor inconvenience and it's still a lot better than a manual stapler. I would recommend it to friends.

Hard to load.
Purchased this product because I do a lot of stapling of flyers. Unit stapes great but when you need to reload is where the problem occurs. Instructions are to push button on rear of stapler and it will eject the front where extra staples are kept and let you reload. It pops open about an inch and then you must tug on the front to open it fully. Not a good design. Would not purchase this model again.

A good product
Seems to have lots of power, I like the adjustable depth for stapleing close or further from edge of paper and the ability to staple on an angle, feels like a good product, the suction cup type feet grip well and likely won’t fall from desk top like my last one did.An added bonus , this unit is twenty dollars less than my last Bostitch

very good delivery, excellent sturdy stapler
very good delivery, excellent sturdy stapler, used in a busy school office just be aware you will need to change the plug to a UK 3 pin plug, or you can purchase a razor plug adapter( but change the fuse in this to a 5 Amp or greater as the power needed for the stapler will blow the fitted fuse)overall very pleased

DOESN'T STAPLE VERY MANY SHEETS
PURCHASED FOR OFFICE. SAYS CAN STAPLE 12 SHEETS, NOT SO SURE. EVERY TIME I TRIED, WOULD JAM. SO STUCK TO 3-4 SHEETS AND WORKED FINE FOR A FEW MONTHS MORE. MACHINE STARTED NOT TO STAPLE--STAPLES NOT ADVANCING WHEN ONLY SMALL STRAND LEFT. REPLACE WITH COMPLETE NEW STRAND--WORK FOR A BIT, THEN JAMMED UP, UNCLOGGED, ALL WORKING FINE AGAIN FOR ANOTHER FEW ROUNDS AND GET JAMMED UP AGAIN --NOT SURE WHY, EVERYTHING SEEMED OK. AND YES, USING STANDARD STAPLES --DIDN'T EVEN GO THROUGH A BOX! GAVE UP AND WENT BACK TO MANUAL STAPLER. NO FURTHER ISSUES. I GUESS YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR...
