Advertised as being directed at the 'early years', it's not.
The book states that it is directed at the 'early years' which is 0-5. I bought this book to support myself and my colleagues with planning our continuous provision in our nursery room, caring for children aged 12 months to 28 months. However, this book is mainly directed at teachers and teaching assistants in the early years foundation stage (reception class in a primary school). It has a lot of useful information, but does not relate to young children. Therefore I think it is falsely advertised and I will be returning.

Can hardly read the writing
I haven't read this yet, mainly because the writing is very faint, and in a very small font. This is not idea for those of us who even with glasses on struggle to read quickly, especially at work. Il be straining my eyes to get anything from this I'm afraid. That said, Im sure the content is interesting and relevant to improving practice.

A great resource
ABC has such an easy style. He gets to the heart of great CP in way to follow detail. In starting to use it now, bit by bit. Highly recommend.

Brilliant
I love this book. I took moved to teaching a Reception class this year for the first time and this book has been invaluable.

More for primary rather than Nursery
Good reference but many of the points are for continuing play in primary rather than Nursery.
